“Friendly staff”

Staff is very friendly. Food was okay, Entertainment team is AMAZING. I love them. They’re very fun. The activity’s were great I couldn’t wish for a better place than thisss!! Would 100 percent come back here for my next holiday ! The rooms are lovely and the have great staff 😀😀

Overall, we had a good stay. Some pros and cons though. Sunbeds were an issue although as of 9 August the day after we left I understand the hotel will be tackling this by stopping reserving until 9am. People were up and leaving towels on sunbeds from 5am when we were there. We generally got the last remaining ones at around 7.45am but away from the pool / less desirable areas. There is a massive barren area next to the hotel that could possibly be developed into another area for sunbeds and also to provide more activities like bowls / shuffleboard / tennis / larger sports court etc for daytime. For the amount of people, the communal areas are not big enough. We enjoyed the food lots of Turkish kebabs / BBQ meat mainly chicken and lamb with rice / curries / grilled fish but also chips & gravy / burgers / hot dogs / Spaghetti / Omelettes / salads daily. The hotel was kept very clean. We found the day / evening entertainment good but a bit repetitive - they need more variety as we got a little bored in the second week. Evening football across the road 11-12 was chargeable and quite expensive as was the bingo (around £15 a strip I believe so we chose not to participate with 5 of us!). The evening show starts at 9pm and only lasts 30 mins then it is kids disco with the same 10 songs played every night. The evening show mainly repeats each week so by week 2 you have seen most of the shows already but the odd entertainment change here and there. At 3pm on a Thursday is a foam party in the pool which was fun. The slides are open for 3 hours daily. 11-12 / 1-2 / 3-4. Ice creams served at around 2.30. The staff are friendly and cannot do enough for you. Special mention to Kursat and Mehmet. Rooms are ok but our balcony was unusable to sit in as it was too small and had the 2 aircon units throwing out heat. Migros and SOK supermarkets adjacent to hotel and another smaller one nearby were very handy. I would recommend the Paradise Boat Sunset Trip on a Friday from 6.30pm to around 9.45 pm. This was only £5 pp whereas most boats were charging £18pp as it is for a dogs charity. Take your swimwear though if you want a dip as the boat stops and lets you swim - there is also dancing on the boat if you want to partake. Drinks on the boat were around £5 each. Also recommend the Fire Show outside the Swan Bar at midnight on a Wednesday. We booked a table for a good spot, and they have live dancers every night to entertain you. They do great cocktails which cost around £10.50 each so not cheap but worth it for the fire show. Overall, we had a great time but unlikely to return unless they develop the hotel more.

On arrival at 9:05pm we were told the restaurant closed at 9pm and we could not be provided with any food, despite travelling with 2 children since 730am! Not even offered a sandwich! Told to go to the local ‘sky bar’ opposite the hotel. We were given a card to show the time of food and then nothing else. No explanation of any amenities or locations of rooms/facilities etc. we later realised the restaurant stayed open with food until 930 for STAFF! So we could have been given something to be honest! Food- if you want to go to a hotel that serves chips at breakfast then this is for you! The food is basic. My 8 year old doesn’t eat burgers, hot dogs, chips, nuggets or plain pasta, so lived off cucumber, lettuce and bread. It is quite substandard and the snack bar (junk food) opens at the same time as the restaurant. I ate salad and chicken for most meals. It was edible but very basic. No fresh fish station etc. ice creams at 2pm each day are provided. Rooms: basic and dated, with broken handles BUT immaculate! Our room faced the pool and it was so loud with music until 11:15 we had to get the kids to wear earplugs. you can hear everyone in rooms above and on the corridor. No safes in room. Check out is 11:00am or £70 until 3pm, £100 to 6pm! There is a room you can borrow to shower but you can’t book it! Cleanliness of hotel: This is where the hotel excels! It is immaculate and staff try the hardest to keep on top of ‘lazy’ customers. Drinks: no idea as I stuck to water and red wine. Entertainment: dreadful!! 30 minute shows at 9pm and then kids disco. Awful beyond words. All daytime entertainment is around the pool near the reception and tattoo parlour. Nothing around the larger pool. Water slides opened for 20 min intervals throughout the day. Guests: UK or Turkish. lots of swearing, smoking and kids being left to their own devices or shouted at! Kids knocking on room doors at 2/3am! Location: 10 minutes to the beach or 15 to dolphin square. 2 supermarkets next door, 1 bar and 1 bakery. Lots of stray dogs and cats at that hotel with cats in the restaurant and dogs at the entrance. All friendly though. Staff: variable. Some helpful some not! The lobby bar staff tended to be quite rude. The restaurant staff are helpful and friendly. Reception staff are hit and miss. Sunbeds: get up at 5:30qm if you want a bed! Towels out on ALL beds by 630am! Not enough beds for guests. Parasols: always taken down at the larger pool due to wind so no shade at all during the day is it if slightly windy. Overall: you get what you pay for and if you’re happy with Brits abroad, in a very clean hotel with basic amenities and below average food, this is for you!

“Not great for vegetarians”

Hotel is OK but food isn't great for vegetarians always had nice vegetarian food in Turkey but really nothing here unless you want plain rice and salad everyday also hard as nothing is labelled so no idea what is in each dish. The alcohol is very water down didn't feel drunk at all not once. Pools are nice and entertainment was ok glad only came for a week though . Probably won't go back as been to loads of hotels in Turkey that are far better and nicer food.
