I've been in five star hotels and ones that cost several times as much that don't come close. The most luxurious three star hotel I can imagine. A real treat.

“Fantastic Birthday Weekend Stay ”

This is the most perfect hotel in Calais. Super friendly staff and management. We regularly visit Calais and would not dream of stopping anywhere else. This is the most perfect hotel in Calais. Super friendly staff and management. We regularly visit Calais and would not dream of stopping anywhere else. Breakfast buffet is really good with a great choice and times that ensure you can enjoy it leisurely. Bar is excellent and is very reasonably priced. The hotel has secure parking underground which can accommodate both estate and SUV type cars. There is a garden area at the back that is a quiet haven to sit out in, you wouldn't believe you were so near the main road to the beach. We always try to stay in the same room, and this has a wonderfully large comfortable bed and a great rain shower in the bathroom. We cannot recommend this hotel highly enough.

“Always a pleasure staying here.....”

This is our default place to stay when in Calais, and as we travel to Germany at least twice a year to see family we spend at least one night here every trip. Having been staying here now for about 6 to 7 years on our trips to Germany, thought it was about time we wrote another review. The Hotel is only about 5 minutes walk from the restaurants in the centre of Calais and about a 10 to 15 minute walk to the beach area, which is vibrant and stunning place to watch the sunsets. There is parking right in front of the hotel, and there always appears to be availability, over the years, we have never had to use the Hotel underground car park. The staff at the Hotel are friendly and welcoming, and the one receptionist who could be "difficult" has now moved on. The rooms are extremely good value, we normally go for the cheapest as we are only there for less than 24 hours, but on our last stay we upgraded to a deluxe room, which was quite large and spacious. As we were staying there with family this time, we had breakfast, which was more than adequate for the price charged. Including hot and cold food. 10/10 to the staff running this hotel and without doubt it is a hidden gem in Calais....

“Gem in the middle of Calais”

Lovely old hotel with lots of French character. Bedrooms were spotless and very comfortable- recently decorated tastefully. The hotel staff are excellent and very friendly. Breakfast was the best we've had in France. Would definitely stay again.
