“Tranquil beauty”
Such an amazing place; a magical setting and the perfect spot from which to explore northern Portugal (only 45 mins from Porto). The 16th-century converted monastery is stunning and the rooms are beautifully decorated, with lovely views of the gardens, courtyard and fountains. We spent a week here… lisää

“Stunning”
We spent three nights here on the first part of our stay in northern Portugal and this was certainly the highlight of our holiday. Such a beautiful and peaceful spot, clean, beautifully furnished rooms and friendly, helpful hosts not to mention the idyllic pool setting.Would love to return!

“We were treated like royalty”
We stayed two nights as part of our Camino and this was the highlight of our trip. Not only are the grounds and the buildings fit for royalty, the friendly owners really made it so special for us. The rooms are large and beautifully decorated.

“Amazing place.”
Stayed here for a week in the middle of September, so that we could explore Northern Portugal. Simply amazing. Kate and Piers could not have been more helpful.
