“Basic hotel”

Clean and simple. Very basic hotel. Our needs were met for a one-night stay. The location was good, and the hotel was in a quiet area, so we slept well. There is a protected parking connected with the hotel.

Great location within the walls of the colonial city of Campeche. Our room was one floor above the lobby and this made it difficult to bring our luggage up without an elevator. The room was adequate with a stand alone closet and drawers for storage. Beds were decent. Our room overlooked Calle 12. The bathroom was tiny and dated. The shower cramped, awkward and dangerous entering or exiting as it is easy to slip on the wet floor. My travelling companion found the shower head to be too low. The most annoying aspect of our stay was the lack of privacy in that we could easily hear other guests' conversations, using their bathrooms, showers, etc. The hotel did include an American breakfast each morning in an adjacent dining room. The offering included three choices of cooked eggs, accompanied by white bread toast and choice of fruit of the day or orange juice. Orange juice is your best option. Of course, weak coffee was included with complimentary top up. The insult was asking for milk which cost an additional 20 pesos. Cheap in my opinion. My rating, a very dated 2 1/2 star tourist class hotel with its best advantage being location and off street parking (which we did not use). Service staff certainly tried their best and were happy to help which made our stay more bearable. There is also a small travel agency/tour office on site. We will stay elsewhere next time we visit the beautiful city of Campeche.

This is not a four-star hotel, it might truly be a two-star hotel, but a damn good two-star. It's a fairly straightforward, no-frills operation, but it's clean, it has A/C in every room, though it may be noisy, and there is a restaurant on premises, small though it is. This is not a four-star hotel, it might truly be a two-star hotel, but a damn good two-star. It's a fairly straightforward, no-frills operation, but it's clean, it has A/C in every room, though it may be noisy, and there is a restaurant on premises, small though it is. What it has most of all is a great location, less than 10 minutes walk from the square and 5 minutes from the seafront. Yeah, the bed is not the most comfortable in the world but it's not the worst I've experienced in a hotel. There is hot water in the shower, a fridge a safe, and cable TV with a few English language channels. The parking under the hotel is a little bonus for those who can fit their car in it.

“Noisy AC, hard pillows”

I really wanted to love this hotel. It has some good things about it. Our room had a separate area with sofa, sink, fridge and counter with some dishes supplied. This was really handy. I really wanted to love this hotel. It has some good things about it. Our room had a separate area with sofa, sink, fridge and counter with some dishes supplied. This was really handy. To have a separate area to sit is nice in case one person is an early riser. Breakfast was simple but good. The front desk was very helpful in calling taxis and in my case, recommending a doctor as I was ill. For your information I went to Clinica Campeche, a private clinic not far away. Paid $440p to see doctor who gave me the prescriptions I needed. There were 2 beds crammed into the room, a queen would be better, you can barely get at the closet. The pillows were rock hard and we had trouble sleeping on them. The AC was very loud when it kicked in, the fridge also made a lot of noise. Hot water in the shower was plentiful. The hotel needs to do some mechanical maintenance. I would not stay in the hotel again because of the pillows and noise.

“A Good Hotel”

This hotel is in a great location in Campeche, The staff speak good English and are very helpful and friendly. The hotel is however outdated. The room was clean and comfortable and the air conditioning was excellent. The hot water in the bathroom took along time to get hot. Great value for money.... lisää

If your looking for a tour however shop around in the town as hotels are really expensive
