My wife and I had a great stay here. The hotel was very comfortable and clean. There were a couple issues with our room but the staff resolved them right away. My wife and I had a great stay here. The hotel was very comfortable and clean. There were a couple issues with our room but the staff resolved them right away. We really enjoyed the service provided by Ivonne at Castaways as well as Salvador and Julio around the pool/at the barefoot grill. The food here was great and the service was excellent everywhere we went. We would highly recommend this resort!

“We took advantage of the spa services yesterday. It was terrific and so relaxing! The beach chair area was well set up”

Andrea looked after our table at Cin Cin this evening. She was absolutely wonderful! The food and presentation was excellent. Really nice evening with friends. We enjoyed chatting with Andrea at the end of the evening…..she is vey pleasant and personable!

“2014 vs 2024”

This was our 2nd time staying at Secrets. The first was 10yrs ago in 2014, we went for my 30th Birthday and got engaged on the beach, so we thought it would be nice to go back for my 40th/10yr Engagement Anniversary (our 10y wedding anniversary will be next year). This was our 2nd time staying at Secrets. The first was 10yrs ago in 2014, we went for my 30th Birthday and got engaged on the beach, so we thought it would be nice to go back for my 40th/10yr Engagement Anniversary (our 10y wedding anniversary will be next year). The view from the rooms is still Amazing! The general location in Mexico is great, small cities/town, lots of excursions. The resort is showing some age if you look close, The pool being the only thing in bad shape, but they do keep things very clean. The food was not as good as we remembered but we have developed a taste for fine dining over years. We did not like Bordeux, but we enjoyed Cin Cin and Spice. We did not get to use the Spa the first visit because of a landslide caused by a hurricane the week before we arrived. This time we did get to visit the spa as well as the spa and Portifino at Dreams. The Spa at Secrets was better but the meal at Dreams Portifino was better than any we had Secrets. My husbands biggest complaint was the lack of beer options, most (but not all) offered a "dark" (negro/amber) in addition to Amstel Light. He is exclusively a beer drinker, but would not touch the Amstel. They claimed to have Dos Equis but every time we requested it we were offered Amstel. Even in the preferred bar. His only reprieve came from our excursions where he was always was able to purchase Victoria, and often a few to bring back. All in All we had a great time, the staff is always friendly and will try their best to make you happy. The entertainment team does a great job.

“Would not stay there again”

The pool areas in the resort were in need of a complete restoration we had tile fallen off in different areas and just looked poor, the grounds overall needed to be up keep...most of the palm trees needed to be trimmed and different areas just need eattention, the food was good but they need more … lisää

The pool areas in the resort were in need of a complete restoration we had tile fallen off in different areas and just looked poor, the grounds overall needed to be up keep...most of the palm trees needed to be trimmed and different areas just need eattention, the food was good but they need more variety more condiments there was no avocados in the in the food buffet no cream cheese no bagels, they were missing quite a few things
