“2* but much better than 3* plus”

Love at first sight. We booked trough booking.com as we were looking for a b&b in San Vito Lo Capo (Sicily) for a short break away from the city. What a lovely little place. About 10 rooms, small lovely rooms with everything you need (no windows in our room) but still not necessary as room very clean and comfortable especially the beds. Air conditioning works at no extra costs as tv and fridge/freezer. Bathroom nice and clean with nice shower and well done. There is a small sun room where you can hang your wet cloths to dry (sharing one) kept clean and tidy by guests and staff. The hotel is right in the middle of the San Vito at just 5 minutes walking distance from the gorgeous beach with amazing colours of sea and surrounding. The two ladies who seems to run the place (Daniela and Irene) are very polite and friendly. There is a lovely display of choices on the buffet table for breakfast, from cereals to local delicatessen such as pastry, juices, cheeses and cakes, all very nice and fresh. Even if a 2* hotel still had the room cleaned and bed done every morning, been in some 4* where didn’t see any cleaners for 2 days. Can’t fault anything at all, we will definitely coming back on our next occasion when will be visiting sicily again and San Vito Lo Capo. Well done

“Overland with the motorcycles”
We were three couples on motorcycles and we arrived in Pozzallo by virtu ferries from Malta. We drove all the way from pozzallo to San vito lo capo. We were three couples on motorcycles and we arrived in Pozzallo by virtu ferries from Malta. We drove all the way from pozzallo to San vito lo capo. We had no bookings where to sleep, so we started a hunt for a decent place to wind down after a long drive and where to garage our motorcycles. It was quite difficult to find 3 rooms but finally we found Hotel Al Tair. Deborah the receptionist told us she had two clean rooms and one whose clients just walked out and was still dirty. We asked if it could be cleaned. She made a call and while having a drink outside, a lovely lady Adriana came to clean the dirty room. Meanwhile Deborah showed us the way down to our motorcycles and served us drinks from the bar. In less than an hour we were settled in three different clean rooms and could easily have a shower to go out and about on foot. The hotel was all we needed for a good night sleep, a good shower, decent continental breakfast and amazing staff. We went down to the beach later that night passing by the castle and many souvenier shops. In the morning we even met the lady of the house who was so friendly and served us well too.

“Molto bene!”
I really enjoyed my time in this hotel. As far as I know, coffee was the best that I have tried in Sicily. Owner was really attentive and we could not ask more. The only problem were mosquitoes, but that was not the issue of the hotel. Its strange that it has only 3 stars... Location was perfect an… lisää
I really enjoyed my time in this hotel. As far as I know, coffee was the best that I have tried in Sicily. Owner was really attentive and we could not ask more. The only problem were mosquitoes, but that was not the issue of the hotel. Its strange that it has only 3 stars... Location was perfect and i don’t have any negative recension for this place. If I will ever end up in Sicily again, that is the place I will stay in.
