Lovely staff & nice hotel, nice pool area, you can get a free shuttle bus to the port/beach. The hotel is up the hill so get ready for a walk or rent a car. You can get a ferry from the port to Maddelena Island defo worth a day trip. This area great for a weekend length of stay. Beaches we went to nearby weren't amazing but perhaps we didn't find the right ones. Would really recommend the boat trip you can book via the hotel, great day out to islands, few stop offs including a couple of lovely beaches. We had b&b in the hotel & they were nice including a chef to cook fresh eggs/omelettes etc. Reception staff were great & very helpful.

If you are thinking about booking this hotel, just do it. It is really charming (in the best sense), in a beautiful location just outside the town with stunning views. If you are thinking about booking this hotel, just do it. It is really charming (in the best sense), in a beautiful location just outside the town with stunning views. Staff could not have been more helpful, with a lovely welcome on arrival. We had dinner in the hotel restaurant on two occasions, the service and food was amazing. The view when we stepped outside the room (along the road) was breathtaking. Breakfast was amazing, with a really broad selection of gorgeous foods, especially pastries, as well as an omelette station. The pool area is really sheltered with comfortable beds. Palau itself is a lovely spot to visit, although very difficult to find somewhere to have lunch if you are not on the early side of lunch / do not have a reservation (and restaurant staff are quite rude in turning you away). The hotel was helpful in making dinner reservations for us which can be difficult to get at peak times. Highly recommended this hotel.

“Fabulous time in Palau”

Myself and two friends stayed here in September, 2022. We each had a double room on the ground floor overlooking the pool. Very pleasant, rooms cleaned and beds changed daily. My two friends could hear people above and next door flushing the loo and walking above but I assume that’s to be expected … lisää

Myself and two friends stayed here in September, 2022. We each had a double room on the ground floor overlooking the pool. Very pleasant, rooms cleaned and beds changed daily. My two friends could hear people above and next door flushing the loo and walking above but I assume that’s to be expected to a point. Maintenance were prompt to fix anything which went wrong in the room and all staff were very reactive and friendly. The breakfast is a buffet with a large choice including hot egg dishes made to order. We had two fantastic waiters - shout out to Massimo who was very good but maybe got into trouble for talking to us too much. We appreciated it as he gave us pointers as where to go in the surrounding area. Giuseppe was also very nice and helpful.. The walk to town is not far but down quite steep hills so maybe not ideal for people with babies in buggies or people with walking issues. Ideally, unless in a party, you need a car here to explore other areas and beaches. In summary, a good location, nice hotel and very reasonably priced.

Stayed for nine nights, overall very good stay. Cleaning staff very good, room was clean, towels, sheets, etc. Lovely staff in the hotel and restaurant. The disappointing items were: - the room was a bit shabby/looked well-used, and the TV was hopeless (not smart TV, no Netlfix, etc), and only Ital… lisää

Stayed for nine nights, overall very good stay. Cleaning staff very good, room was clean, towels, sheets, etc. Lovely staff in the hotel and restaurant. The disappointing items were: - the room was a bit shabby/looked well-used, and the TV was hopeless (not smart TV, no Netlfix, etc), and only Italian channels. The shower bathroom was excellent. Regarding breakfast: they only offer real fruit juices on Saturdays!! - this needs to change (please). On the breakfast, too much bread/pastry products. The restaurant is good, though the menu selection needs to be updated - no real veggie dishes which was frustrating for the wife - good if you want sucking pig/lamb/beef, pasta. The local wines at the restaurant were excellent and well-priced. The surrounding area could be prettier, though the view over the bay is fabulous. We didn't use the shuttle/local beach (we had a car and often explored other beaches). The pool was excellent. Would we stay again? - unsure, 50/50.
