“Heaven in Ischia”

This is a wonderful spot high up on a bluff overlooking the port of Ischia. The grounds are beautiful and the room was very comfortable with a balcony that had views of the port, the castle and Mt. Vesuvius on the horizon. The staff was great and very welcoming. It's in a great spot, about a 15 minute walk to the port and a 5 minute walk to the thermal baths. Very clean and quiet. One huge plus is the restaurant at the hotel. The food is some of the best I have had in Italy. Great seafood selection, expertly prepared local dishes and tasty desserts. One night we had roast rabbit. You need to request it 12 hrs in advance since it is a fresh preparation. The depth of the sauce which is simply the pan drippings was other worldly. The sauce is served over bucatini as a first course with roast as a second. Eat it with roasted potatoes and it is the perfect earthy dish that you would see on Rick Steves or other such travel shows. It can't be beat. They also serve breakfast as part of the hotel charge and it too is a great spread. This is a marvelous place to stay.

“Amazing views and staff”
Loved our stay here. Our room was clean and spacious. The patio door leading out to our patio offered a great view of the port, hills, and water. The staff was very helpful making sure to help with all the questions we had concerning touring the island. The restaurant looked nice, but we didn't… lisää

Pretty nice location on the hill overlooking the sea. From ferry port there is steep up-hill road and taxi cost 15 -25 Euro.Bus 1 and 2 will bring you to stop at thermql spring and 400 meters from the hotel.Bus 15 will bring you to the doorsteps but runs unfrequently .
