''oThis was our 2nd stay in this hotel, and again it was wonderfull. 2 months earlier I've visited (on a fam trip - I'm a travel agent) a lot of hotels in Calabria. Even some of the 4* and 5* hotels weren't as fantastic as this place. This is why: - something easy but so important: everyone is very friendly and thoughtful - authentic and wonderfull meals. Compliments to the chef! - comfortable and spacious rooms - wonderfull pool:large, seperate space for children, cleaned every day, bathing cap is obligatory - the hotel was not to big, just the perfect number of rooms for a 3* - the staff works very hard to satisfy the clients: Lorenza, cristina,carlo, niky ecc cleaning ladies and the whole barbieri family -... The hotel is located on a nice place, but you don't have shops and lot's of bars outside. This is hard to find in Calabria, but in Tropea (+/-8km from the hotel) you can find all of this. They provide a free shuttle from & to the beach. In case you want to go to other places they can also take you (not included in the price). Really recommend this hotel!

The Barbieri Family’s housing complex is continually improving (see the open-air swimming pool) and extending (see the outbuildings). The staff is professional and careful, ready to sort anything; the cuisine is tipical and traditional, always varied, with a delicate taste. The bathing beach is nice and very trim. The bay and the sea are simply delightful: northely, the Scoglio del Leone and the Marinella shore not to be missed. The website (http://www.lapraia.it/) is reliable very much. To be maked better, but by arrangement with the others hotels, the course to the sea.
