“come a casa”
It has been my 4th stay in this hotel. What makes me this place-addicted? It is perfecly located - 5 minutes on foot to the train station and then all coastal cities are within a reach e.g. 4 minutes to the beautifil Tropea, 45 minutes to the famous Pizzo. It has been my 4th stay in this hotel. What makes me this place-addicted? It is perfecly located - 5 minutes on foot to the train station and then all coastal cities are within a reach e.g. 4 minutes to the beautifil Tropea, 45 minutes to the famous Pizzo. The hotel is family buisness, cozy, immersed in greenery. The dinner (la cena) is worth buying, you can taste the real Calabrian food. My recent discovery is limoncello prepared by the ownwr's aunt (complimenti !!!). The nice bonus is a beach. It is secluded, almost like private.

“Great hotel”
The hotel is close to the railway station St. Domenica - 10 minutes on foot (shortcut on the cliff); trains are always on time ;) Within the walking distance there is a supermarket. The hotel is close to the railway station St. Domenica - 10 minutes on foot (shortcut on the cliff); trains are always on time ;) Within the walking distance there is a supermarket. The location on the cliff allows to appreciate the immense blue of the Thyrrenian by day and the splendid view on Stromboli Island by sunset. The hotel has its 'almost private' beach, but remember good shoes are obligatory because it is down the steap cliff. The hotel is immersed in green, green garden (very beautiful) which provides shade also in a midday heat. Rooms are spacious and tidy. The Staff is amazing, very helpful and always smiling :) The hotel has its own restaurant with tipical calabrian food. There is wide a choice of antipasti - variety of vegetables prepared on 1000 ways :) There is of course 'cipolla di Tropea' - carmellized red sweet onion ;)

“The best hotel ever!”
We was at Le playe, and it was the best! We loved the people, the place, the atmosphere, the shows etc. The Red animation team was very good and the rountour maked that you feel that you were welcome. PERFECT ❤️
