We had a great week at the hotel. The reception staff were very friendly and it was very spacious. The rooms were very comfortable and kept very clean. There was a good selection of food, but as many have already said, nothing was very hot; at best the food was luke warm. There also appeared to be a continuous shortage of butter - not the end of the world, and ok if you like dry toast. Even when you asked for it, they only brought out a handful (a few guests bought their own). Pool areas were good and again kept very clean. Good range of local drinks included for all-inclusive and staff were very friendly. Generally a very nice hotel, good location, clean and very friendly staff.

Just come back from having 8 nights at the Fergus, it's a lovely hotel very clean and we found all the staff to be very nice and friendly the bar staff Carlos Ricardo Michel and the rest of the guys were amazing polite and great to speak too, Fabio and the entertainment team kept you entertained with all sorts of activities like archery shooting darts killer pool and aqua gym they were all great guys, the only downside for me and what let it down was the food, yes there was plenty of it and they had theme nights every night from Asian to Indian and Italian the only thing that let it down was the food was not hot enough even if you went in as soon as it opened it still wasn't hot not even warm this is the only thing that the hotel could improve on everything else was amazing, didn't use the second pool bar as it wasn't part of the all inclusive

“Great week away”

The hotel was lovely, please don't listen to the negative reviews. Staff friendly, clean and the food was good. The pool area was lovely and clean, with plenty of sunbeds. The hotel is at the top of a hill, however the walk down to the lovely sea front wasn't far and a taxi back up was around €4… lisää

The hotel was lovely, please don't listen to the negative reviews. Staff friendly, clean and the food was good. The pool area was lovely and clean, with plenty of sunbeds. The hotel is at the top of a hill, however the walk down to the lovely sea front wasn't far and a taxi back up was around €4. Plenty of lovely shops and places to eat. We've had a great week away as a family. We would definitely come back again. Only negative was the entertainment was late doesn't start till 21:45. However this wasn't an issue as we had a lazy nap and late evening meal. Thankyou Fergus staff for a lovely week.

“Modern hotel”

I stayed in Fergus with my family for 4 nights all-inclusive. We were impressed by how modern the room was, view from the balcony was impressive. The staff is very polite and helpful. Room cleaning services did a great job. Reading reviews, I was a bit sceptical about the noise because of being a light sleeper but the hotel was very quiet. The staff left a bottle of champagne and a card for my brother's birthday which was very lovely. Even tho we paid for all-inclusive I didn't feel like it was worth it. Food choices were very limited but price-appropriate. There was barely any choice for cocktails and even all-inclusive had to pay for drinks from 11 pm. The rooftop terrace charges €50 per day for a bed and all drinks are payable at the rooftop. My family had mixed views in general, some would love to return, and some wouldn't.
