“Exceptionally clean hotel with lovely staff”

The hotel was exceptionally clean in all areas. The staff in the restaurant worked extremely hard clearing tables to ensure there was always an available table even at the busy times. The hotel was exceptionally clean in all areas. The staff in the restaurant worked extremely hard clearing tables to ensure there was always an available table even at the busy times. All staff were very friendly and helpful. Joined in some of the activities and again the animation team were lovely. Only problem was, not enough people joined in but appreciate it was in February and they said it got busier in the summer. The weather was lovely and warm during the day and never a problem getting a lounger whatever time we went out to the pool. It got a bit chilly in the evening so take a jumper. I particularly liked that there is an adult section and a family section for not only accommodation but also an adult pool and specific entertainment. Food was very varied and generally very good for buffet food. My only criticism would be that we did have rain on one of the days and there is no inside area other than the reception to sit and have a drink and not even a covered outside area. Other than that it was a lovely holiday.

“Perus hotelli hyvällä sijainnilla”

Hotelli oli remontoitu puoli vuotta sitten, mutta huone ei näyttänyt siltä; seinät oli naarmuilla ja täynnä likaisia jälkiä, meikkitahroja ja ovi täynnä mitälie likaa. Hotelli oli remontoitu puoli vuotta sitten, mutta huone ei näyttänyt siltä; seinät oli naarmuilla ja täynnä likaisia jälkiä, meikkitahroja ja ovi täynnä mitälie likaa. Siivous oli siis heikolla tasolla, koska näitä ei oltu siivottu ennen tuloamme eikä niitä siivottu koko viikon aikana. Myöskään lattioita ei pesty kertaakaan viikon aikana, siivous oli käytännössä lakanoiden vaihto (jos jätti lapun sängylle) ja pyyhkeiden vaihto (jos pyyhkeet jätti lattialle). Siivousaika myös vaihteli päivittäin eikä sitä voinut ennakoida, eli jos jätti pyyhkeet lattialle odottamaan vaihtoa eikä siivooja ollut käynyt, niin olisi pitänyt käyttää likaiselle lattialle jätettyä pyyhettä. Aikuisten puolen allasalueen aurinkotuolit oli kaikki varattu pyyhekillä jo 7 aamulla, mutta varaajat ilmaantuivat paikalle vasta tuntien jälkeen, jos silloinkaan. Allasalueelle alkoi paistamaan aurinko vasta 12 aikaan. Läheiselle rannalle käveli onneksi vain 5miinuttia, jossa vietimmekin koko viikon edellä mainittujen syiden takia. Aamupala oli hyvä ja monipuolinen, muuten emme syöneetkään hotellilla. Hotelli sijaitsi aivan rantabulevardin lähellä, jossa oli paljon hyviä ravintoloita ja kauppoja sekä pari kauppakeskusta. Playa De Las Americasiin käveli nopeasti rantaa pitkin, ja taksikin maksoi sinne vain 5 euroa. Sijainti oli siis meille loistava, kun etsimme rauhallista paikkaa josta pääsee nopeasti ja helposti joka paikkaan. Vuokra-auton sai helposti hotellin parkkiin, hinta oli 12 euroa päivältä. Myös läheisen kadun varteen olisi voinut jättää. Hyvä perus hotelli, mutta hintalaatu-suhde ei kohdannut. Ei sviitti-tasoinen tai hieno, vaan ihan perus 3-4 tähden hotelli.

“Plus and minus”

Arrival was good, receptionist was friendly and we were given a glass of fizz. Our room was spacious with a separate lounge area. We had a pool view but our balcony which was on the 3rd floor got no sun at all, also it was directly above the hotels air conditioning unit which was on the ground floor. It was incredibly noisy and really you couldn’t sit out on the balcony and relax because of the noise of it, it also kept my husband awake during the night. We were half board and there’s a separate part in the restaurant for adults only, however no matter what time we went down for breakfast it was difficult to get a seat here or even in the main part of the restaurant. Tables were either occupied or uncleared. The staff that were there seemed to be working hard to clear tables but there just wasn’t enough of them. Food at breakfast was quite nice and a decent choice. But even tho we were half board we only had an evening meal there once. The food was just dreadful. I’d picked a beef stew which was tough as old boots, the veg was raw and cold, I opted to get a slice of pizza instead but that was soggy and tasteless. In the end I settled for 2 small mousse like desserts which were the only items that tasted ok. After that we ate out every night. Some plus points for the hotel are its location. It’s very close to shops, bars, restaurants and the beach. Also in the hotel itself there’s lots of little sunbathing and seating areas tucked around the hotel. The roof terrace had lovely views , Balinese beds and really comfy sofas. This was our 22nd visit to Tenerife and we’ve stayed in a variety of hotels but I can’t say I’d stay in this one again unless they seriously upgraded the food situation.
