I’m sitting at reception waiting on my transfer and I have to say this has been one of the best holidays we’ve ever had… and we’ve had holidays in the Caribbean and Dubai… Firstly, we booked through Bookings.com and it was seamless. Flew with Tui and everything from start to finish was excellent. Also, this is our opinion on our stay, in the room we had and it’s a 3 star hotel, so please don’t expect anything other than that. If you like more luxurious then by all means book that, but this review is for a 3 star hotel. We arrived and checked in with ease, we had an upgrade to a sea view and when we come back, which we will next year, I will ALWAYS book a sea view. We were in room 43 and I have to say was the most amazing view I have seen, we never tired of it… I’ll post a photo or two of the view from our room. Also, the staff made it very special for us as this was our 30th wedding anniversary holiday, the room had a bottle of fizz and a gorgeous boxed scented candle, this was also the reason for the reception upgrading us to a sea view… This was just an amazing start to our amazing anniversary holiday. There was a small fridge in the room too, there’s a safe which we didn’t use but I think you can rent at a reasonable price at reception, there’s plenty of towels, which I’ve stated, are changed every day. Also you can hire, with a refundable deposit of €10 each, towels for the sun beds and you can change them as often or as little as you need for €1 per towel. We’re an older couple so we just wanted a relaxing holiday in the sun. I’ll write about the positives and the negatives as there is in every hotel… Positives, the hotel is SPOTLESS, smell so, so clean. Rooms are cleaned every day, clean towels every day. We were all inclusive so the food is what you’d expect from an all inclusive… but the food was fresh, every night was a chef grilling fresh fish and then either chicken or pork usually, always a paella and all the usual salad bar, fresh cold meats, fresh fruit and for those who are fussy or have children there was chips, pizza and pasta ever day. Breakfast was the same, cereals, yogurts, fresh fruit, dried fruit & seeds, cooked items, sausages, hash browns, cooked mushrooms and tomatoes etc… we had no complaints… there was a barbecue one night too which was delicious. The staff are so attentive but not overly… very pleasant, Al lost all speak at least English, others I heard speaking French and German. Everyone from the cleaners, pool attendants, bar staff, waiters, reception staff are all very pleasant. The pool was always spotless and not overly noisy. Lots of sun beds, tables and chairs next to the pool bar. There’s a ladies and gents toilet at the pool area too which are spotless, my husband actually commented on them and said they were the cleanest gents toilets he’d ever seen (or smelled) There are plenty of sun beds around the pool and there’s a deck above the pool for sunbathing and is very quite and again with the most amazing views. We don’t have small.children but there is a kids club as far as I know and also an animations person who plays games with the children ( wasn’t many when we went out of term time) and with the adults too. He was very, very pleasant, very polite, very encouraging and those that played games with him seemed to really enjoy it. We stayed for 10 days and was very reasonably priced. There are a couple of negatives, again, just our opinion Air conditioning was not great in our room, it did work, just not that cool and it was at the coolest setting Parasols for the sun beds, there’s not enough, there should be one for every two beds but not anywhere near enough. But again we know this is a three star hotel These are our only two negatives about Globales Simar We would like to give a shout out to Angela and Maria from the bar staff… they were so delightful and very hard working and we didn’t get to say goodbye to them as they had finished their shift when we went to say goodbye. So a HUGE THANK YOU to them both. But all round we’d like to send a HUGE thank you to ALL the staff for making our stay so delightful and we will be back next year Kind Regards to you all

Absolutely spotless. Lovely location. Food was very average quality. A very very anti British "vibe"- certainly from Eastern Europeans(Bulgarian mostly) who have a huge chips on their shoulders. Keep accepting them and you WILL lose business.

Just returned from 10 days at Simar hotel. The hotel is classed as a 3 star and this is what you get. The hotel is very clean, rooms specious, towels changed every day and beds changed every other day. Just returned from 10 days at Simar hotel. The hotel is classed as a 3 star and this is what you get. The hotel is very clean, rooms specious, towels changed every day and beds changed every other day. On the down side, we arrived I the early hours, greeted by “we have been waiting for you” not our fault the flight was delayed, checked in and told our room was No 1, although 2 men on reception no on offered to help with our cases. The bed was a pull out bed settee, so you had the arms of the settee going down the side of the bed (see photo)making it difficult to get in and out of bed. The hotel is split into 2 buildings, the restaurant being in the other block to what out room was in, so you had to cross the road to reach the restaurant, this is not made clear in the hotel details. The food was just about ok, best night was the when they did a BBQ. there was a comfortable bar below the restaurant but this was never open so there was nowhere comfortable to sit in the evening, there was a disco bar or by the pool area but nowhere else. There are plenty of sun beds around the pool area near the bar
