“Wonderful, relaxing holiday in a top notch hotel”
We can’t fault a thing about this hotel. We took the AI “preferred“ option which meant all of our meals were a la carte. We can’t fault a thing about this hotel. We took the AI “preferred“ option which meant all of our meals were a la carte. I would recommend this if budget allows due to the food choices and the preferred pool area. The food was varied and delicious, the staff were friendly and attentive. The bar service in the piano bar in the evening was slick and so there was no queuing at the bar. International branded and generous drinks. Plenty of sun lounger, waiter service round the pool and the grounds were always spotlessly clean.

“FANTASTIC 5 STAR HOTEL WITH FABULOUS STAFF”

We have just returned from a week at Secrets Lanzarote Resort and Spa. We booked the Preferred Club All Inclusive Package via Secret Escapes and were not disappointed. We had been holidaying in Playa Blanca prior to our stay and arrived at Secrets at 11:30am. We were checked in and given a glass of cava to enjoy together with a guest card so we could enjoy lunch and drinks prior to the check in time of 3:00pm - a nice touch. We were shown to our room with a full sea view with the most ginormous bed we've ever seen. The food was delicious at every meal. We breakfasted daily and dined in The Portofino o a few evenings. The service was always excellent. We ate in the Bluewater Grill where you cook steak to your liking on your table top grill. Our favourite restaurant was Oceania where Alejandro was always there to welcome us with a glass of cava. The food and service were fabulous - hence we visited three times during our stay. The swimming pool for the Preferred Club Members is nearest the sea and has a lovely bar for drinks. The pool was warm and was never overcrowded. The entertainment in The Piano Bar was excellent and varied each evening. We walked to Puerto Calero Harbour several times - market day gave the harbour a bit of a buzz. We also caught the water taxi to Puerto del Carmen harbour which was a lovely day out. We have stayed in hotels all over the world and tend not to return as we like new experiences but we will definitely return to Secrets in Lanzarote as the staff were so welcoming and it was obvious that they had all been well trained that there was nothing we could fault. We look forward to our return.

“5* Customer Service”
This hotel really understands the concept of 5* and most importantly of 5* customer service. This hotel really understands the concept of 5* and most importantly of 5* customer service. When my friend and I experienced severe problems by another guest, Alejandro Borges, the Guest Experience Manager immediately stepped in and we were swiftly moved and upgraded. Alejandro followed up the next day to ensure that we were happy in our new accommodation and was extremely helpful. All the hotel staff were extremely friendly and we enjoyed our time at Secrets very much. I'd recommend this hotel to everyone
