“Good Experience!”

I was very happy with this hotel. There were 3 of us staying in one apartment and we had plenty of room for belongings. The rooms got cleaned every day & left us fresh towels each day. All staff are very friendly and super helpful. Helped us with booking taxis, booking excursions, suggestions on nice restaurants and just general information about the hotel and area. Rooms and clean and air-con is good and on anytime you want.

“Good hotel in San Antonio”

It was a nice relaxed atmosphere. Room was great and really big. Good facilities. Its around a 40 minunte walk to the centre of San Antonio but there are lots of bars to stop off on the way. All of the staff very friendly and helpful. Would definately stay here again.

“Exceeded expectations”

Writing this review towards the end of a week-long stay with my teenage daughter. Apparently we are amongst the first guests of the 2024 season and so our experience of the accommodation is perhaps different from when it’s fully booked at the height of the season. However I thought an early, practical review for this year might be helpful. It will be obvious from any listing of this accommodation that it’s a basic self catering set up. That said, there have been a few things about our stay that have elevated this beyond basic, in my view, and made it a stay that exceeded expectations. The most important of which have been the staff, who have been so welcoming, helpful and friendly the entire week. They gave the impression that nothing was too much trouble and very quickly sorted out a couple of small issues on arrival. Special mention of Alicia and Nicole, who also helpfully recommended places to visit and to dine. The twin bedded studio allocated to me and my daughter is very spacious, plenty room to give each other breathing space! There are several blocks of accommodation of three storeys. - ground, 1st and 2nd. Some overlook the street, some overlook one of the two pools, a few of the higher ones from what I can tell, will have a view of the sea in the distance as ours does. It was perfectly clean on arrival and is serviced every day. I can be a bit squeamish at the prospect of accommodation attracting bugs in hot places and never for one moment felt this could be an issue, the room was kept clean and small measures help to keep it so. Common sense like not leaving open food packets anywhere but in the fridge, helps! Regarding cooking/kitchen equipment I scrutinised the available pics when booking,trying to see if there was a basic oven or grill: there isn’t. That said I probably wouldn’t have been planning anything more adventurous than heating up pizzas so it’s not anything that I really missed. I think management has taken on board some comments in reviews from last year, this year there is a kettle and toaster, as well as microwave, two-ring electric stove and a full size under counter fridge. There is also basic crockery/cutlery for 3. Tea cups and small juice-style glasses only. (I bought a mug locally for my morning coffee!). On arrival you will have a pack with a small amount of washing up liquid, a cleaning sponge and cloth. All in all it’s enough for basic cooking. A chopping board might be handy if considering future additions (not suggesting you pack one!). The basic equipment won’t faze more adventurous chefs than me, if desired! The accommodation is situated at the end of a busy street with tourist shops, two or three shops selling huge choices of booze and snacks (one of the closest to the accommodation also sells perfectly-mini sized jars of coffee, detergent for hand-washing laundry and other helpfully holiday-sized supplies). It’s about a 10 min walk to a pretty good Eroski supermarket for fresh bread, fruit and veg. It’s an easy 15min stroll in the other direction to a lovely small beach at Port d’es Torrent where there are also three bars and the water taxi to San Antonio centre. Realistically if you’re looking for accommodation that’s within stumbling distance of the main San Antonio nightlife, this maybe isn’t it - or plan around taxis back at night. This didn’t bother me at all for this particular trip although the options in the immediate vicinity for places to eat seem to revolve a fair bit around sports bars and child-friendly options, and we generally chose to walk maybe a half an hour further towards the centre for nicer beach front options. We elected not to pay for breakfast every day but did try it out. Good options of hot food (fried eggs, sausages, bacon, hash browns), four or five fruits (melon, pineapple, peach halves possibly from a tin but fine), yogurts, four or five cereals (chocolate hoops for small or big kids), choice of small bread portions, hot drinks from a machine. It cost €10 ea on a pay as you go basis. Bright airy breakfast room. Adjacent to this is a bar area which serves poolside drinks during the day again with friendly staff and reasonable prices. The intention for this holiday was a really easy, low-key week of ambling between sunny balcony, pool, beach and snoozing in the shade. I know that’s not everyone’s Ibiza and frankly I was surprised that this accommodation 100% delivered on that brief this time - but absolutely the time of year must be a contributing factor and I suspect at the height of the season it could have a very different vibe with a lot more activity around the pools (and for a different, adult holiday I’d be up for that too!). I’m already looking at booking this same accommodation for the same time next year so I hope that sums up the totally positive experience for anyone considering Vibra Club Maritim.

“Clean and tidy but no kettle in the rooms”

The apartments were clean and tidy . There was a lack of kitchen equipment, there was no kettle in the rooms , which made make coffee slight dangerous having to use a saucepan to boil water.
