Lovely place great pool side food lovely rooms.only fault is the pool side is very slippery and the lifeguard needs to concentrate in his job a bit more. Great location and friendly staff.been twice now and would recommend

Stayed here for a week in January and we were Slightly worried after reading the reviews. I can honestly say that the hotel is great value for what we paid the rooms are basic but very clean and were cleaned daily with fresh towels when required. The staff were friendly and helpful and on call whenever needed. The pool area is nice with good views there is a bar but apparently this isn’t open during the winter months which is a shame as there are no bars or restaurants in the area without walking down the hill into the main town. Luckily there is a supermarket directly across the road which is great. The hotel is at the top of a winding hill which Is ok to walk down but need to get taxi back up but only €3. Puerto Rico itself is ok the harbour is nice with a good beach and has good reasonable boat trips. The dated commercial centre which is full of bars and restaurants is in my opinion a monstrosity and totally ruins a nice town and I hated it never ate there we ate at the Harbour restaurants far nicer outlook. In all the hotel was good but not great but if you are on a budget and need a good clean base this is ideal. I would stay here again for the price I paid.
