The staff is service oriented and kind. Last time we stayed in the Bungalows with garden view, near to the pool, but we prefer the beach side. We booked for november again. Go on like this. See you soon

“Chilled and relaxed”
Agree with all comments before, this place is an oasis on this island. Make sure you have rented a car and all is fine. Don´t expect an all-inclusive hotel stay and you will be more than happy with a great place to stay as close to the beach as you can be.

The resorts of San Agustin and Bahia Feliz are within close walking distance in either direction. The pool area is enclosed by the surrounding bungalows making it shaded from the wind and a great suntrap throughout the day! The bungalow itself is perfect for 2 people however you could push another adult on the sofa beds in the lounge area and still not be on top of each other. Good sized bathroom with a walk in shower with instant hot water. The kitchen area was basic but there was a fridge with small freezer compartment for lollies/ice creams and we happily had a paella or two on the nights we didn't go out. There is a restaurant up the hill called Bamira which looked very good. We opted to go to Sa Wa Dee instead which was just over the hill in San Agustin. A nice evening experience. Directly over the road in the apartments building is a bar that does a good range of take away food if you don't fancy cooking and there is also a nice fish restaurant there too. Price of food and drink was still very reasonible compared to other holiday destinations in europe. The little supermarkets in Playa del Aguila were not over priced and the Tortilla they sold were very filling. The beach which the bungalows open up on to was vast and at low tide exposed perfect soft sand. I advise crocks for the beach but when in the water it was all sand. The waves were good at the time we were there so got to do some body boarding. The area is also popular if you wind surf. The little lighthouse was a lovely central fixture of the scenery and the next cove over playa besudo was picturesque. Every morning I sat drinking a coffee whilst watching the sun rise. The friendly small team of staff at Side Shore made our experience even better. Always on hand and nothing was ever to much trouble. All in all a very relaxing 7 nights in paradise.

Umm,, its a bit difficult to review this place (more hostel like that Hotel). However it has everything you would need, very simple. We had a self contained bungalow sea side, which was lovely. the bungalow contained 2 single beds, bathroom, fridge, stove and cutlery, a little tv that you have to pay (coins) to watch and only German channels. The hot water does not last long so we couldn't both wash our hair around the same time, you have to wait at least another 2 hours before you have hot water again. The hotel owner apparently is a German champion windsurfer so this place is designed for that kinda clientele. You have to pay £5 euros for wifi per day but the signal is no good for the seaside bungalows. The establishment does have a little bar and pool, barbecue place and a restaurant. The hotel is easy to get to, all you have to do is pay 2.75 Euros (Bus 90 or (66- Express)) from LosPalmas airport getting out at Playa de Aguila stop and walk towards the beach( you cant miss it). I cant really complain about the place it was ok. Its not really dirty but its not really clean neither you have to let go of certain reservations with this place, but you do have all the simple amenities for a reasonable stay at this place. you can walk to maspalmas/ playa de Inglis which has the white dunes. Also there are lots of little supermarkets that you can buy food from around your area plus you can rent a car for around 20 euros upwards per day. Do not use the tap water for drinking or your tea, buy bottled water. The sea was the highlight of the hotel for me although the beach is small and filled with pebbles / stones and you cant walk around too much as it has locked gates around it, but to wake up every morning and look out and have the sea outside your door is kinda wonderful. Breakfast is simple. Bread and jams, boiled eggs, tea coffee and juice, cereals tomatoes, cucumbers, cheese and sandwich meat (mostly pork). I would recommend getting a car and going around the island. The mountains are wonderful, if you are CONFIDENT to drive. Otherwise get a day or half day tours/excursions to get around. Unfortunately the big let down for me was that it is a very German orientated hotel and everything pretty much is in German and even though I knew it was a 2 star the whole tiny coin TV was just below the belt a little (cheap). The rooms/ bungalows get cleaned every 3 days and towels are changed every 2 days. Finding a Parking place outside the hotel is almost impossible in the evenings, so keep that in mind when renting a car. The weather around December is actually cold, windy and gloomy (mostly). Bring appropriate attire, it gets pretty cold at night. The hotel staff are nice and helpful when they understand. You can ask for extra blankets. The restaurant was a bit expensive for what they offered, however they do have fresh fish on menu ( you can find better places /i think). People can sit beside you and smoke (disgusting) all we smelled during the dinner time was the darn smoke. I didn't get to go for a swim in the sea or the pool (way too cold). The last day I sat outside and had my breakfast and tea while the sun was shining, that was lovely. I think the owners can do so much with this place, it has so much potential. Would i stay at this hotel again? I would like to say yes but sadly no ... unless my budget is really really tight.
