We had a lovely stay at the sun galacia. It's a family run business and the staff were very friendly and helpful. Not very many people in that area of Spain speak English (no reason why they should) but the daughter of the owner did a bit and we made do with a translator app, they were always very accommodating. The place was well maintained, the swimming pool was great and rarely busy, it was a wee bit cold. The only issue was I had booked a three bedroom room, I thought I was going to have a kitchen, unfortunately it was one of the few rooms without, when I mentioned this they moved a fridge into the room so we were fine with that. The room was a little basic but had everything we needed, and I loved sitting on the balcony. Sanxenxo is quite a walk away so a car is advisable. I would definitely stay again.

“Value for your money.”

Very quiet place for couples /families. It was my first visit to Sanxenxo bay, and it couldn’t have been better. This hotel is value for your money. Located at the small town of Forxán, very near Sanxenxo and Portonovo. The rates aren’t too expensive, even for mid-august. Staff is nice, rooms are… lisää

Very quiet place for couples /families. It was my first visit to Sanxenxo bay, and it couldn’t have been better. This hotel is value for your money. Located at the small town of Forxán, very near Sanxenxo and Portonovo. The rates aren’t too expensive, even for mid-august. Staff is nice, rooms are cosy and have TV and air-conditioning . There are two small pools ( one for children), one mini-basketball court, and a carpark on the back. There is free wifi in public areas ( you may get lucky as I did and get a room inside the network coverage area). It’s not that far from the beach but you’ll have to drive ( aprox 2 Km straight ahead). After 9AM it will be really hard to find a free place to park near the beach, but there are a few car parks which will cost you around 3eur for the whole day, if you want to stay in bed till late in the morning. The only minus I remember is the lack of any fruits in the breakfast.

“Good but not a three star”

The hotel was really clean, I love how we had loads of space to park the car. Staff were really good and polite our room being cleaned daily, breakfast was really good but apart from the orange juice wasn’t actually a fresh orange was more of a squash but overall great, the room we stayed in looked… lisää

Staff were really good and polite our room being cleaned daily, breakfast was really good but apart from the orange juice wasn’t actually a fresh orange was more of a squash but overall great, the room we stayed in looked a little old, I liked the swimming people, it really more of a family place I wouldn’t say it a three star cause you would expect little more with three star hotel but like I said we had a great time
