“City Hotel a mile from town”
We stayed here for three nights at the start of our trek on the Camino Norte booked through Macs Adventures. The hotel is a fairly standard city hotel, located out of town, on the bypass. We stayed here for three nights at the start of our trek on the Camino Norte booked through Macs Adventures. The hotel is a fairly standard city hotel, located out of town, on the bypass. The hotel had everything we needed, the staff were friendly and helpful. Breakfast was very basic, consisting of coffee, juice and toast or croissant. We ate one night in the hotel restaurant and the food was good and reasonably priced. We ate twice at the restaurant across the road which was very good.

Although we got at the restaurant after 3:30 pm and could not make it on time for our reservation our waiter was amazing. He did not show any sign of disappointment because we were really late. He showed respect and acted very professional. He also recommended dishes from the menu and gave us infor… lisää
Although we got at the restaurant after 3:30 pm and could not make it on time for our reservation our waiter was amazing. He did not show any sign of disappointment because we were really late. He showed respect and acted very professional. He also recommended dishes from the menu and gave us information about interesting places to visit in Ribadeo. Like I said Restaurant was empty when we get there but the service and the food was excellent. We had Paella with Lobster ( arroz a la bogavante ), crema de mariscos and tuna salad. Delicious.

“A good place for a few nights in a good spot”
Our room was big enough to house the amount of people in it, the good in the restaurant is good and the staff are there for your convenience. The pool is outdoors, but not heated and there is no hot tub, however this is fine.

“Modern hotel - close to Playa Catedrales”
A clean modern hotel on the outskirts of Ribadeo and very close to Playa Catedrales. Nothing wrong with this hotel but it is 2,5k from Ribadeo centre and in a retail park area so not very scenic. A clean modern hotel on the outskirts of Ribadeo and very close to Playa Catedrales. Nothing wrong with this hotel but it is 2,5k from Ribadeo centre and in a retail park area so not very scenic. Didn't eat here so can't comment on the food but it was fair value for money. Playa Catedrales very good and well worth an evening visit when it might be quieter. Ribadeo is also interesting with a great harbour and interesting shopping area. Well worth an explore to see the real Spain. Good coastal walks too and an impressive bridge and modern funicular lift. A good attempt at regeneration.
