I absolutely cannot rate this hotel highly enough. My husband and I stayed for 3 nights and loved every minute. The hotel is in a perfect location, just steps from the Old town and opposite a beautiful park, just 10 minutes walk downhill to the beach. The hotel has recently been renovated and it has been done very well with real attention to detail. The rooms are soundproofed, the bathrooms are beautiful, the beds huge and very comfortable. Everything has been done with quality in mind. The staff were all just lovely and couldn't do enough for you, everyone was so helpful and genuinely friendly. The public areas are kept spotlessly clean as was our room. We decided to stay half board and were so pleased that we did as the evening meal was literally fine dining, it is a small menu but the food is done extremely well with an emphasis on quality. You choose your meal from the menu and it is brought to your table unlike the larger hotel chains. Every meal was superb and cooked to perfection. We have stayed at hotels like the Mandarin Oriental in the past and the food here at Obal Urban we found to be equally as good. A special thank you to Diego in hospitality who made us feel especially welcome and went to great lengths to ensure that our food was served perfectly and highlighted any gluten issues on the menu (my husband and I are both gluten intolerant). We were served with warm gluten free rolls and everything served to us in the restaurant was impeccable. Breakfast was equally good with healthy choices, a great selection of fruits and freshly squeezed orange juice. Perfect. Thank you to everyone who made our stay at Obal Urban so perfect, we will definitely be back.

“Modern rooms in a central location”

We decided to stay one night in Marbella and booked this hotel for the same day, we did not regret it.  The location is great, facing a lovely park and only steps from the beach promenade, the room was modern and clean. We decided to stay one night in Marbella and booked this hotel for the same day, we did not regret it.  The location is great, facing a lovely park and only steps from the beach promenade, the room was modern and clean. Although it was facing the main road, the noise was very reasonable.  The internet was very fast, breakfast had a lot of choice.  There is a pool and a bar on the roof.  What really surprised me was the friendliness of the staff, the lady at check in was very nice, gave plenty of tips on how to go around, the next day she asked how it went, etc.  It was really a nice find, and we were very happy with our stay.

“Comfortable hotel at a great location!”

Good hotel, on a perfect location in the historic city centre. Shops, restaurants are all around the corner. Also very close to the beach, 2 min walking through a charming park, to a really nice beach. Comfortable rooms, friendly staff and a great breakfast. We would definitely book again!
