We booked this last min without expectations. We arrived late because storm Darragh caused issues!!! We made it in one piece thankfully. We booked this last min without expectations. We arrived late because storm Darragh caused issues!!! We made it in one piece thankfully. We were greeted with water but the kitchen was closed but it was late and they had some snacks for the all inclusive guests. Our apartment was small but very clean and very nice. The beds aren’t the most comfy but adequate, the tv worked and the shower was basic but nice. They have amazing food here I cannot fault it. Something for everyone. Although by the outdoor pools are shut now because it’s off season they have a nice small heated pool and hot tub and sauna. You have to wear a swim cap tho. They’re 4 euros each or the shop over the road sells them. They also have a gym which is basic but great. Our toilet wasn’t working and they sent a plumber immediately. The other guests were noisy but that’s because there were things going on in the area. The staff were great but Manel was excellent. He was very engaging and planned quiz nights and Bingo as well as other entertainment. The magician was the highlight. I was in stitches. Also pablo bloom was very good. I would highly recommend this place. The public transport is cheap and reliable and the taxis all speak English and are very reasonable. Altea old town is a must if you’re visiting. Lots of old cobble streets and beautiful buildings. It’s my last night tonight and I’m going to a Cuba bar for salsa dancing. Great way to top off the holiday. Thanks Albir Garden resort my son loved it especially the pool tables and the racing game. We said we’ll definitely be back. Muchas gracias ❤️

“Nice Hotel room for improvement”

Generally a good experience but room for some improvement. Rooms are a good size but are showing their age with chips and nicks to furniture and peeling paint,beds comfortable,no extractor fan in bathroom which lead to sewage smells at times,good heating and air con,everything provided if self cat… lisää

Generally a good experience but room for some improvement. Rooms are a good size but are showing their age with chips and nicks to furniture and peeling paint,beds comfortable,no extractor fan in bathroom which lead to sewage smells at times,good heating and air con,everything provided if self catering including filter coffee machine.we had a room in the main building facing the Irish tavern but no issues with noise We stayed AI and no complaints about food,always well cooked and warm and a very good selection,drinks range ok but could have done with cider as I don't really like lager. Cleanliness of rooms and public areas is good. In a good spot with plentiful bars shops and restaurants if you need them Issue cyclists riding through hotel grounds,not good when there are kids about and shouldn't be allowed There is a population of cats which we were feeding until the large lady behind reception told us of in front of other people (not good people skills ! ) if you don't want people feeding them put signs up stating that

“Good hotel, good location”

Friendly staff, good breakfast buffet, comfortable room. The only negative is that the choice is between pool facing rooms (more expensive) and outside facing rooms (less expensive), but the real issue for us was rooms over the very loud disco area (up until 23:00) - thankfully they allowed us to c… lisää

The only negative is that the choice is between pool facing rooms (more expensive) and outside facing rooms (less expensive), but the real issue for us was rooms over the very loud disco area (up until 23:00) - thankfully they allowed us to change rooms and all was OK after that
