“Decent Hotel, very well located ”

Having read some of the reviews on here I didn't know what to expect. We stayed here over Christmas 2024 and thoroughly enjoyed the hotel. Having read some of the reviews on here I didn't know what to expect. We stayed here over Christmas 2024 and thoroughly enjoyed the hotel. Staff were friendly, the room (standard room on third floor) more than acceptable and the food excellent. Is probably doesn't quite warrant 4 stars, but a solid 3.5 definitely. There wasn't a huge amount going on considering it was a Christmas break and note in winter, the entire pool area is in shade throughout the day. But being only 10 minutes walk from Albir beach more than compensates for this. We stayed half board on a package deal with Easyjet - under a grand for all 3 of us - we felt the hotel and food were fantastic value at this price. If you want to spend your entire week at a hotel and want all your needs met, you maybe slightly disappointed. If you paid several £k you might feel the hotel was not at the luxury end of the spectrum. However, if you want a comfortable base with good food, this is a very good option. Drinks were also very reasonable. Hotel stated some rooms were under refurbishment, so some of the issues mentioned by others are likely being attended to. Note: odd numbers face the town and mountains and get sun in afternoon. This can make the rooms a little warm & some traffic noise - but you get beautiful sunsets and late evening sun. Beware, Floors 1 & 2 may get a view of Lidl! Even numbers face the gardens and also have a mountain view, you will not get road noise, but will not get the sun either in winter.

“Comfy stay”

This is a good hotel. Great location and the rooms are stylish with balcony. The restaurant has lots of breakfast options with a good choice especially of low/no sugar options. Did have half board option but didn’t really use it, as ate out. Have been to this hotel many times and are booked to re… lisää

“Christmas break.”

Lovely central hotel. Been before but not for a few years. Room overlooking pool and mountain view. Comfy and large. But sadly bathroom looking tired , cracked files ,damaged door at the bottom also needed painting. Useful fridge in room but not tea making facilities ie kettle like most hotel s. … lisää

Lovely central hotel. Been before but not for a few years. Room overlooking pool and mountain view. Comfy and large. But sadly bathroom looking tired , cracked files ,damaged door at the bottom also needed painting. Useful fridge in room but not tea making facilities ie kettle like most hotel s. We took our travel kettle and,teabags. Bought milk at nearby lidl. Staff friendly and helpful.

“Nice holiday, nothing special”

Stayed here in september with my boyfriend and dad, i had other family members in a hotel near by. The hotel this time of year wasn’t crazy busy, it was more on the quiet side, which for some people thats what they prefer but for me i think i prefer a more lively hotel. poolside- was nice, pool… lisää

Stayed here in september with my boyfriend and dad, i had other family members in a hotel near by. The hotel this time of year wasn’t crazy busy, it was more on the quiet side, which for some people thats what they prefer but for me i think i prefer a more lively hotel. poolside- was nice, pool wasnt freezing & it was a nice chilled atmosphere, not a lot of snack options. entertainment~ there was no entertainment. the entertainment is inside and very very poor. - quiz shows etc. luckily we were always out at night time. food - food was mediocre in my opinion however i am vegetarian, my dad loved the food. there was definitely a lot of options for meat eaters, i pretty much had chips every night. there was a pizza night and i was so dissapointed to find they didnt have a pizza without meat on it. I did ask and they said they couldnt make one for me. staff- some staff were actually quite rude, others were lovely, if you needed something there was always someone to help. rooms- room was clean, had a bath & shower - decent size and a lot of storage space, (basic room) I hated the balcony sadly, we were directly facing lidl. was gutted we couldnt get a pool view. Spa- spa was nice, i got a massage for my sister & i & i also got a facial, the massage for me wasnt the best but my sister loved hers, so each to their own i guess, my facial was lovely, i felt so refreshed afterwards. the atmosphere in the spa is very relaxing and the staff do make you feel very comfortable and relaxed. Location- the hotel is located about a 15 minute walk to the beach, it isnt bad atall, right next to a lidl which is good for snacks etc & around a 5 min walk from another large supermarket. there’s also lots of restaurants and cafe’s near by, pharmacy etc. sadly i feel there’s just nothing happening in albir, its boring. without the kids i would of been bored out my mind and normally i can’t be bothered with kids on holiday lol. We took trips into benidorm a couple times which was nice, not a long journey there, busses are quite frequent. It was a nice holiday, i loved spending time with the family, but we wont be back in albir anytime soon.
