“Great fun trips for couples at classy and beautiful resorts with great scenic views”

Very nice hotel with perfect picture taking views. Good buffet and special specialty restaurants with variety of foods. Entertainment nightly from music to variety shows. Truly upscale resorts and would recommend to friends. We traveled as 3 couples and we all enjoyed very much.

We have been to many Secrets resorts and this was very different from the others. It is a small resort with (mostly) side by side villas built into the hillside, very hilly to walk around but shuttles are available as needed. We preferred to walk - great exercise after eating. We have been to many Secrets resorts and this was very different from the others. It is a small resort with (mostly) side by side villas built into the hillside, very hilly to walk around but shuttles are available as needed. We preferred to walk - great exercise after eating. The beach was black and tan sand, and the ocean water was very calm - snorkeling and kayaking is available via the activity center. Pool chairs fill up quickly, but the staff was always willing to find more if needed. Food and drink were great, staff was very friendly, weather was perfect. I would suggest the jet ski excursion that is offered by Jeff and Carlos, they are on the beach (left side as you face the water), Jose was our guide, were toured the area, stopped across the bay to feed the white-faced monkeys, snorkeled with sting rays and turtles and toured a volcanic cave reasonable cost for 2 people $160 ( $80/pp.)

Secrets Costa Rica: Very nice resort. The staff treated you like a king. Restaurants were excellent. The weather was perfect, sunny and 90 degrees every day. We went Jan 25 to Feb 2 2025 but make sure you go in the dry season. January through April is best. The beach is a black sand beach. Fun … lisää

Secrets Costa Rica: Very nice resort. The staff treated you like a king. Restaurants were excellent. The weather was perfect, sunny and 90 degrees every day. We went Jan 25 to Feb 2 2025 but make sure you go in the dry season. January through April is best. The beach is a black sand beach. Fun to walk but not a great beach but my wife loved it being different. Lots of crabs at night. Bring a good flashlight but watch out stepping on them. The 400 series rooms are on a hill, have nice views but probably need shuttle to the pools and main area. The 300 series is quieter and easier to walk to the main area. 200 series closest to main area but don't stay in room 215 traffic at the intersection. Coco Cafe makes custom smoothies with real fruit, coffee, cappuccino, etc. We visited it every day. They have double and king bed rooms. Get a king bed if you prefer one large bed. Overall we loved Costa Rica, it is beautiful, safe and a return visit is highly recommended.
