“Lovely chilled hotel ”
We stayed Dec 24 On arrival, we were welcomed with a lovely cool drink and were checked in very quickly. We had to pay $150 dollars deposit. The room was lovely big and super cool. We stayed Dec 24 On arrival, we were welcomed with a lovely cool drink and were checked in very quickly. We had to pay $150 dollars deposit. The room was lovely big and super cool. Slight complaint sheets were wrinkly but beds super comfy. Towels were replaced daily but were a little frayed. Shower was also great. Walls are super thin.... we heard the neighbours alot. Generally arguing. We used the chlorine pool and we saw lizards and howler monkeys. Pool was a little cool and had alot of leaves floating but this couldn't really be helped with all the trees around. I did manage to rescue a frog.... The pool area was lovely and chilled, loungers quite comfy. They did play loud music though. We only used the buffet restaurant and the food was pretty good every day. Awesome cocktails! The staff everywhere absolutely excellent! I would stay again! We checked out at 11am and had to pay extra for our lunch as our pick-up wasn't until 1.45pm It's a lovely hotel and we very much enjoyed our stay.

“Great time, great place, amazing country”
Best food we've had at an all inclusive, hands down. Amazing and kind staff. Beautiful swimming beach and both a salt water and chlorinated pool. Great selection of drinks including premium beers which was nice. Parking for our rental car was free and easy. Hotel even set up the rental for us. Ro… lisää

“I would return just because of the staff!”
5 days, 4 nights. Great stay. I would rate the facilities 7/10 for modern updates and aesthetics. The property itself could use some cleanup. Debris in lots of places, trees down, etc.. 5 days, 4 nights. Great stay. I would rate the facilities 7/10 for modern updates and aesthetics. The property itself could use some cleanup. Debris in lots of places, trees down, etc.. However, I would return in a heartbeat due to the outstanding service. From Danny and Anita at the front to the restaurant staff, Eric, Christian, Crystal, Stephanie, and Wendy. I can't say enough. They were always attentive. Always smiling. Always going the extra mile. For them alone, I would return. Other positives: The beds were super comfortable. And the food?? 9.9/10! They have a buffet throughout the day, but they also have an à la carte restaurant. Trust me, you'll prefer the buffet even though the à la carte was great. The buffet has so many delicious options and some theme nights on the weekends. You will not be disappointed by the food. The beach is nicer than all the other beaches we checked out, so don't feel like you're missing out if you don't get to visit other beaches.

RESORT & ATMOSPHERE: 5/5 Very quiet, sleepy and small boutique resort, best for older couples and total relaxation. Stay in superior rooms (2 storey buildings), very comfortable rooms and beds, nice patios, fridges stocked daily, delicious coffee in room. POOLS 4/5: Two nice pools, one saltwater (80s vibe), the other chlorine with a swim up bar in each and best drinks made with high end alcohol and mixes in nice glasses (no tiny plastic cups). Bar guys go the extra mile to make drinks memorable and from scratch -best we’ve ever had on any vacation (especially Josue!). DINING & ATMOSPHERE: 5/5 fantastic Al Fresco quiet and romantic dining atmosphere (twinkling lights/incredible dining music (live only Friday and Saturday-acoustic guitar), food is very good, healthy, authentic dishes and choices. You can order the North American crap food (burgers, fries, pizza etc) from a snack menu). Wood oven pizza is actually quite good. Nice wine served at dinner, mimosas with breakfast, flat or sparkling g water. Top notch wait and main bar staff -really attentive but quiet at the same time to ensure you enjoy your meal. Kitchen Chef always around, asks for feedback and hotel staff eat the same food as guests (that’s a sign of authentic food). Drinks at the main bar and both swim up pools are such a treat 10/10! BEACH 2/10: dark sand with fallen leaves and sticks, watch for jelly fish, lacks ambiance for spending time there on chairs but good for walking. TIP: water dispensers located throughout the resort, cold and hot. You can ask for bottles of water if you go on an excursion. No volleyball net, no ball. Sensoria excursion: marketed as relaxing spa-like experience but in reality it’s a rushed walk through rainforest to 4 waterfalls and natural swim pools where you have 5-10 min in each to swim. Nice but it’s not how it’s described so just be aware. BA Divers exceptional for diving and snorkeling. Skip Diamante Eco Adventure -animals in cages (sad).

“Rainy Costa Rica”

My wife and I stayed at the CC Beach Front Papagayo from Nov. 9th to 16th. Overall, the resort was very nice, and the food was amazing. The wait staff and bar tenders were supper nice and always smiling and made sure you had everything you needed. We stayed in a master suite and the room was very clean and beds were comfortable. Although we had the tail end of tropical storm Sara and it dropped a large amount of rain and the resort was flooded and we had a tree come down on our building, we powered through and made the best of our vacation. Zip lining was amazing. My biggest complaints were that the management never once asked how we were dealing with the flooding and if they could do anything or when the tree came down on our building no one came to see if everyone was okay. We received notice from AC that our flight was canceled on Sat. Nov. 16th on Friday by text message and an email. All attempts to find out if we were going to be staying at the resort of moved to a hotel with our onsite AC representative fell on deaf ears. Was on hold with AC for 4 hours and my battery ended up dyeing. We had no choice but to stay one extra night at the resort. They charged us $1100.00 USD for one night to stay in a resort that had flooded pools that could not be used and flooded ground that we could not walk. Access to the beach was closed due to the flooding so basically, we were staying in our room.
