Parkside Hotel and Apartments What a gem! What a great experience! I chose Parkside Hotel because of its location. I was on a two-week holiday and my room had a stunning view of Myers Park in Auckland's CBD. I soon learned that Parkside not only offered the perfect location for me, but provided the utmost in hospitality! Having my bed made and my fluffy towels changed out daily was such a luxury. Every day that I didn't have plans for an early activity, I took advantage and slept in, as my bed was comfortable and restful. My one-bedroom suite also had a kitchen with a cooktop, microwave, and refrigerator. It came with everything I needed to prepare and serve my own meals. The housekeeping staff were all so friendly, quick, and efficient. The second day of my stay, I happened to be there when they came by; I asked if there might be a pillow that was a little shorter in height. No problem: in a few minutes I had 2 pillows that were just right for me! Everyone that I encountered was absolutely lovely and helpful. From the folks who greet you at the reception desk to the maintenance man, all the staff at Parkside are friendly, capable, and knowledgeable. I was fortunate to speak to the Front Office Manager, Vikash Kumar, when I needed help with my booking. Later, when I met him, I found him to be gracious, professional, and personable. His approach to customer service and the treatment I received from everyone I met, exceeded my expectations. The quality of my accommodation was superior and the service exceptional. I recommend Parkside Hotel if you just need a few nights or an extended stay. As for me, I am definitely returning!
