We love Holiday Inns and always find them to be an excellent choice with a price point matching the area. This Holiday Inn was disappointing in that we arrived on an early October evening when the temperatures necessitated some cooling. When we turned on the HVAC, there was nothing. A call to the desk resulted in being told that A/C was shut off for the season, that we could open the window (which faced an expressway), and that maintenance would be bringing us a fan. When the 10" fan arrived, I thanked the maintenance man and told him that we would be checking out. Surprised by my statement, he called the desk and relayed my message. Miracle of miracles, there was a whole wing available to us with A/C. We spent the night and it was an excellent experience. However, their initial reaction has convinced us that we will never return.

“Very good stay”

Came here for one night stay. Room was very nice and clean. Hotel has a restaurant, a pool, and fitness center. Staff was very nice and courteous. Hotel is very close to the university of Vermont! Good value for the stay.

“Late Arrival, Early Departure”

We have stayed at this Holiday Inn several times in the past. The night receptionist was so kind and welcoming, to these weary travelers at clerk in. The weather outside was rough but we were happy to be greeted kindly, with our clean room and peaceful stay. The Hotel looked like they had been doing some cleaning and painting since we were there last.

“Decent place and friendly staff”

I have not been in BTV since a major altercation with the TSA at the airport. Since I am a crew member I decided to give BTV another try and was pleasantly surprised. The staff was friendly and the hotel was decent. There are plenty of places close by to eat at and shop at. Unfortunately it was… lisää

I have not been in BTV since a major altercation with the TSA at the airport. Since I am a crew member I decided to give BTV another try and was pleasantly surprised. The staff was friendly and the hotel was decent. There are plenty of places close by to eat at and shop at. Unfortunately it was major cold and rainy so I did not go out to do any exploring. The breakfast was decent and free which is a major plus for any of us crew members. Not a deluxe breakfast, that you can find in any of the close by dining options. It was quiet which was a definite plus.

“Easy Access to the Airport”

I stayed here for one night as I had a early flight the next morning. The lobby was appealing and big...this is a large property spread out in several wings. I stayed here for one night as I had a early flight the next morning. The lobby was appealing and big...this is a large property spread out in several wings. The lobby is set well back from the, seemingly, front entrance. Anyway, check-in was quick and accurate. The guest room was very clean and either newly updated or well tended. New mattress with nice sheets and comforter. Tons of pillows. The bathroom was in great shape, too. Newer tile and counters. Also, the bathroom was very clean which you expect from Holiday Inn. Areas that need work: No closet. There is a wardrobe but the ironing board doesn't fit. The restaurant need some TLC. Food and drink as well as the help was just fine. However, the restaurant "physical facility" needs a complete makeover. Really easy access to the airport...10 minutes door-to-door, max.
