“Good road stop hotel”

Friendly staff, the room was new and clean. Convenient stop for us on road trip right off route 95. We will definitely use again on our travels back and forth from Florida They are pet friendly at a reasonable cost compared to others We will use for return trip to Florida

First impression was great. The lobby looked very clean. Our room looked very clean and bright. We got a great deal for our one night stay through Priceline. First impression was great. The lobby looked very clean. Our room looked very clean and bright. We got a great deal for our one night stay through Priceline. The only complaints my son and I had was that the AC had probably not been cleaned in a long time. Every time it started, there was a strong musty smell. It wasn't until the next morning when my son took his shower that he noticed that evidence of mold growing was on the ceiling above the tub/shower area and there was mold growing down the seams of the shower wall. I did report both things to the desk when checking out. I was disappointed in that there was no hair dryer in the room which is unusual for hotels these days. I don't usually pack a hair dryer any more so l just let my hair dry naturally. Also, although not a really big deal, there were 2 hot cups for coffee or tea but no drinking cups so we needed to rinse out the hot cups when using them for drinking a beverage. I read on the hotel site where people said there were homeless people sleeping around the hotel and that there were bugs in the rooms. We did not see any homeless people sleeping around the hotel and never saw a bug or roach. Hopefully they will correct what I reported. I would probably give it another try if I was going to Savannah again.
