“Great option for visiting Telluride and keeping money in your pocket! If you don’t mind a drive.”

This is a fantastic hotel! I have stayed here multiple times over the past three years while visiting area ski resorts. The hotel is a nice 1 hr and 20 minute drive to Telluride. This is a fantastic hotel! I have stayed here multiple times over the past three years while visiting area ski resorts. The hotel is a nice 1 hr and 20 minute drive to Telluride. The costs is about 25% of a room up on the mountain. This hotel is impeccably clean. The staff is friendly and outgoing. The hotel has a small fitness room with a pelaton and elliptical. The indoor pool and hot tub is a good size. It is within walking distance of the airport terminal.

“Expensive dormitory.”

A clean and modern facility with an excellent staff. Unfortunately, it's a very expensive dormitory. The room has a desk, a desk chair and a bed. There is no other furniture. No couch, no lounge chair, no ottoman. There was a lounge chair at the end of the hall by the ice machine.

First the positives. The room was clean, the breakfast was good and the staff were polite. Now the negatives. When we walked into the room the AC was going full blast and it felt like we were in a meat locker. We turned the thermostat as high as it would go (80) and it was still blowing cold air so… lisää

When we walked into the room the AC was going full blast and it felt like we were in a meat locker. We turned the thermostat as high as it would go (80) and it was still blowing cold air so we turned the system off and opened the window. Next, the room had only one chair so one of us had to sit on the bed. Then there was no microwave in the room. We have been traveling for just under two weeks and every hotel we have stayed at (some costing 1/3 of what I was paying at the Hampton Inn) had a microwave. Then I tried to get on wifi and got some screen saying I needed to join Hilton Honors or I might be charged for the wifi. I was already a member but saw no way to enter my member number so I went to the desk where I was told “Just disregard all that.” So why even have it and cause extra aggravation when trying to get on the wifi? The next morning I headed to the fitness center to walk on the treadmill but my room card wouldn’t open the door so I had to round up someone to let me in only to discover there was no treadmill. I can’t remember the last time I have been in a fitness center without a treadmill. In my opinion, this hotel was average at best and way overpriced.
