We loved our stay here. Service was excellent and the rooms were comfortable. The resort is across the street from one of the swim beaches in Key West, and is about a mile from downtown. I especially appreciated Nick, the concierge, who gave us great advice, and reached out a few weeks ahead and booked Thanksgiving dinner and activities for us. He really helped our vacation go smoothly.

👏 Would definitely recommend! Very clean, room service was impeccable as long as the staff around the pool and bars.

We have mixed emotions about our stay but we'll start with the positives: shuttle service drivers: Johnny, Jeremy and LuAnn were amazing - always interacted with us and have great suggestions for site seeing. Chris at the front desk is literally the reason why we'd consider another stay at this hotel. He was authentic, patient and shared more about the hotel amenities than any other front desk person and concierge. There was also one upstairs night bartender who was super friendly and willing to make you any drink possible which was lovely after a long day on Duval Street. Our pauses was the upkeep of the hotel for the amount paid per night plus resort fees. Baseboards were damaged, fitness facility had one tread, missing 10lb weights, and no fans which it surprised us for Florida. Fitness room did have apples, towels and water which was nice. Food prices seemed high and it pushed us to eat in our room or travel to Duval which wasn't always convenient. Fire alarms went off one night 2-3 times at 3am and no communication to the guests the next morning that everything was OK. City turned off water supply in the middle of the night the following night after the alarms and they communicated that, but still was an inconvenience to not flush the toilet and wash hands with bottled water. Not huge issues and we had more positives than negatives but I expected more from this brand name.

im torn, because, i am an avid keys visitor, not specifically key west. and for most visitor standards, this would probably be optimal. i also travel with a wife and 3 kids, and im probably spoiled by the comforts of staying at airbnb, but i just find these hotels to be slightly beat up for the pri… lisää

im torn, because, i am an avid keys visitor, not specifically key west. and for most visitor standards, this would probably be optimal. i also travel with a wife and 3 kids, and im probably spoiled by the comforts of staying at airbnb, but i just find these hotels to be slightly beat up for the price were paying and the limitations of the rooms. everything in key west is probably just beat up due to the crowd of party goers and the salt water eroding everything in its way. the best thing i did was rent a golf cart to get around. i think parking with a car would have been miserable. the hotel is far from the main action so you need to get around. the pool is nice, the staff is average, the amenities are average. i would say the concierge was fantastic. maybe some readers don't maximize this amenity, but i definitely due. mainly reservations. its not a terrible hotel, i don't think theirs may options for the kind of stays i enjoy. the mattress are ready for an upgrade. the sofa bed is a plywood. good luck on your stay. its definitely family friendlier then other properties. also the fire alarm went off at 3am on our first night and ruined our sleep. but i guess your going to find those drunk jerks anywhere.
