I booked here because I was flying out of MIA and didn't want a long drive and miss my flight. There is a $16 charge for secure parking, Internet etc which is perhaps a little high but not totally unreasonable. I booked here because I was flying out of MIA and didn't want a long drive and miss my flight. There is a $16 charge for secure parking, Internet etc which is perhaps a little high but not totally unreasonable. Although my room looked towards the airport, there was no noise because it was well soundproofed. My twin room was well equipped and very comfortable with a refrigerator and coffeemaker with plentiful supplies of coffee, tea and, especially, cups. The staff were very friendly and the check-out time of 11 am generous. I would definitely stay here again.

“Dayuse Hotel”

We had a late flight after a cruise and wanted a short term hotel to avoid spending 11 hours in the airport. Hotel was recently converted from a Days Inn. We had a late flight after a cruise and wanted a short term hotel to avoid spending 11 hours in the airport. Hotel was recently converted from a Days Inn. Our room was large and comfortable with a desk & chair and a leather recliner rocker chair. The bed was comfortable for an afternoon nap. The in room coffee maker did not work properly. I went to reception and a maid brought a new coffee maker to the room within 5 minutes. Staff was very friendly and accommodating. It was raining so we did not use the pool. Day use check out time was 5 pm which is later than other hotels. Reception stored our luggage in a locked room while we had dinner at the Beat Culture Brewery attached to the lobby. After dinner they called a taxi for us. The elevators to the upper floors are located at the opposite end of the hotel, a long walk from the lobby. The carpeted halls make it difficult to roll luggage. I would have given a higher rating if the hotel provided airport shuttle service. Taxi drivers prefer not to service the area as they get higher fares to and from downtown Miami. We waited 30 minutes for a taxi. While close to the airport the route is somewhat long. Taxi fare is $25-30. In the future I would pay a higher rate for a hotel with free shuttle service.

“Decent overnight stop when your on a budget”

Good attempt to maintain and refresh property and constantly saw someone cleaning so I was thankful for that, however I was truly expecting the property would be a bit "fresher" based on online photos but not terribly misrepresented.
