Clean. Comfortable bed, great location & super friendly price. Over all, good. A couple of small annoyances related to maintenance: -Bathroom door is a pocket door. The door is missing the mechanism to grasp to pull the door shut if it's all the way into the wall pocket. Thus, it's very difficult to close the door for privacy. -The pop-up mechanism for the vanity sink drain is broken. -Towels are thin & scratchy.

My husband and I went on a day trip to Hanging Rock State Park and had car issues near Kernersville on our way home. We found ourselves unexpectedly stranded in Kernersville 80 miles from home on a Friday night. Every nearby hotel was full with the exception of this Sleep Inn. Although we are Choice members, we had never stayed at a Sleep Inn. We used some of our points for the room. The weekend points requirement is 20,000 for a queen room. I think that is too high based on other Choice properties where we have stayed. It should not be more than 16,000. That said, we were very pleased with the room and our stay! Friendly staff! The hotel is 2 stories with adequate parking. Pets and smoking are not allowed - a plus for us! The outside and inside of the hotel was clean and well lit. We were in room 200 which is just up the stairs from the lobby and on the end. It looked and smelled clean. The room was small but they have made good use of the space. We had a refrigerator and microwave. The bed and pillows were comfortable. Shower had plenty of hot water and great water pressure. The towels and washcloths were thick and fluffy. We heard no noise from the hallway or from the room next to us. The one downside was the air conditioner. It was very noisy. The breakfast was adequate and typical of Choice properties. However, the tea bags for hot tea were much better than any Choice properties we have stayed at! I would not hesitate to stay here again or to recommend it to someone looking for a place to stay in the area.

“Very Comfortable!”

I was in the area and needed a place to stay for overnight. there are no frills at a Sleep Inn but this 1 was extremely comfortable. I was in the area and needed a place to stay for overnight. there are no frills at a Sleep Inn but this 1 was extremely comfortable. The room and especially the bathroom was very small but hey, there was only 1 of me. The bed and pillows were extremely comfy. Air conditioning and everything else worked well. I was on the highway side of the hotel and would probably ask to be on the other side just due to the road noise coming from the McDonalds next door next time. Very good room at a great price. The only reason this isn't a 5 star review is due to the huge dumpster in the middle of the parking lot. Please get rid of it as it is in the lanes of travel.

“Unclean Bathroom”

Our toilet seat was loose. I had to borrow a screw driver to tighten it. Also there was fecal spots in the toilet and on the outside seat cover and wall. I asked to have toilet cleaned and the inside of toilet was cleaned but the spots were still on the wall and the outside seat cover. I didn’t … lisää

Our toilet seat was loose. I had to borrow a screw driver to tighten it. Also there was fecal spots in the toilet and on the outside seat cover and wall. I asked to have toilet cleaned and the inside of toilet was cleaned but the spots were still on the wall and the outside seat cover. I didn’t ask again I wiped the outside of the seat lid myself! GROSS! We were told we could change our room but we had already had everything unpacked. We should have never been given a room like that.

1st time here in this city and Sleep Inn. The room and bath were small and I don't know about ALL the rooms here, but the one I was in 216, needs updating! 1st time here in this city and Sleep Inn. The room and bath were small and I don't know about ALL the rooms here, but the one I was in 216, needs updating! Carpet is separating from the room and the bath and looks very tired and worn, BUT, the bed was comfy and the pillows were too. The room was clean and had extremely bright lighting, which I like. The bugs in the light above the shower need to be cleaned out, BUT, the shower had instant HOT water and the water drained! Another plus of the bathroom (which I wish ALL hotels had) - a separate switch for the light and the fan!!! If you are looking for a place to eat with great food - go to Prissy Polly's Pig Pickin' Barbeque.....food was outstanding.
