“Great airport hotel”

Stayed here one night before flight from MIA. We had a large suite and it was wonderful. Everything felt new. We also ate in the restaurant downstairs, which was good. Stayed here one night before flight from MIA. We had a large suite and it was wonderful. Everything felt new. We also ate in the restaurant downstairs, which was good. They run a shuttle to the airport (in the morning at least every 30mins - MIA is less than 10 mins away. Would stay again if need an airport hotel.

The main disappointment that was that after a very long flight, the front desk agent refused to let me in to my suite because I arrived within an hour before check in time. I told me that I needed to wait in the lobby for another 45 minutes or pay $50 for an early check in..I did pay the extra $50 as I understand there are rules and I was tired and didn't want to wait in the lobby for an hour, however, I feel sometimes, though that the desk agents should be empowered to show some discretion particularly when it was not that the suite wasn't ready, but simply that he needed to wait an hour before he could check me in because that is normal hotel check in time...It would seem to me, that having a guest sit in the lobby for an hour half asleep and miserable, or letting me go up to my room should have been something he could have had the discretion to make a logical decision. It's not like it is was 4 or 5 hours before check in .The irony is that my flight this morning left at 11:00 am so I was out of my room at 8am, 3 hours before check out time. Of course, I didn't stop the front desk to ask for a refund for checking out early.... The only other issue was that I paid for 2 nights of parking but could only find parking the first night because on the second night there was some type of event going on and the lot was full on so I had to park my rental car on one of the side streets. Had I known the area well enough, I could have done the same the night before and avoided the parking fee. I think if the hotel is going to charge for parking there should be enough parking to accommodate their guests..Other than that, I was only there for 2 days but I was impressed with the physical hotel and its amenities and of course, proximity to the airport. "

I stayed at EB Miami Hotel for the first time in December for a couple of nights as I disembarked a cruise. I did not eat supper at the hotel so I can’t comment on the food but I did have breakfast one morning and that was alright. There are a couple of take aways close to the hotel but if you are looking for a restaurant then you need a taxi/uber to get to them. I was entitled to a VIP benefit due to the website that I booked on and it did not apply to me (free parking and I was not driving.) When the booking agent contacted me to query that I should get an alternative it was then that I asked them and they provided me with one complimentary drink which I am not sure is an equitable alternative. Also I left 2 bags with logos in my room and though they were empty I did intend to use then when I left the hotel. Housekeeping threw them away and when I asked at reception when I checked out he did say that they should not really have done that. There is a good sized swimming pool and gym as well. The hotel is a fantastic airport hotel compared to the average airport hotel. The room was spacious with a lovely ensuite and I did enjoy my stay. Yury is friendly and great and he is a brilliant barman. It is so close to the airport with a complimentary shuttle so if that is what you are looking for the location is perfect. Overall it was a good stay and I would be happy to return.

We liked the hotel, modern, spacious room, large bathroom. We were opposite the airport. But there was nowhere outside to go to eat, or any small shops. We liked the hotel, modern, spacious room, large bathroom. We were opposite the airport. But there was nowhere outside to go to eat, or any small shops. We ate in the hotel restaurant, we had breakfast on 2 days, and one evening meal. Each time the food was served cold, even when sent back it was cold. The pizza we had for dinner was cold. My main complaint was that the service charge was automatically put on my restaurant bills. This is illegal. Tipping is discretionary. I have asked the hotel to return this to my credit card. So far they have not done this or had the courtesy to reply.
