“Family stay at Dan'l Webster Inn”

The Dan'l Webster Inn is outstanding. Everyone there was wonderful. House cleaning deserves recognition, their work is extraordinary. In the Gathering Room in the AM, GAIL was so helpful and wonderful. The front desk lady leaves something to be desired. Not friendly at all.

We have stayed at the DW Inn many times and it's always great service and food. We usually come in late October when it's very quiet. The staff is always great and it's location is the best in downtown Sandwich. I would love to see some updating around the common areas. I saw some leather chair… lisää

We have stayed at the DW Inn many times and it's always great service and food. We usually come in late October when it's very quiet. The staff is always great and it's location is the best in downtown Sandwich. I would love to see some updating around the common areas. I saw some leather chairs that really need some TLC or replacing, some stains on ceilings and would like to see some updated decor. Some of the autumn decor looked old. My bed was comfortable but very high and hard to get in and out of. Also the walls are a bit thin in the section we stayed in and we could hear the neighbors (room next door) easily. I wouldn't pay for the busy season price but off season is very pricing is good. Missed having the dining open this time as it was closed, always a wonderful meal.

I recently stayed at the Daniel Webster when I visited Sandwich for my 40th High School Reunion. Overall my stay was very pleasant. The people at the front desk were extremely nice and helpful, and the Inn itself is a beautiful place in a beautiful, historic location in Sandwich. My only issue was that when I booked the stay through Booking.com, there was no information regarding a fire that had occurred in the Kitchen over the summer that caused the kitchen to be closed. My girlfriend and I were looking forward to having dinner at the Inn during our stay, and perhaps having a cocktail at the pub. Both were closed during our stay due to the fire. Other than that, the Daniel Webster Inn is a great choice for lodging while traveling to the Cape, and will transport you back in time with its 17th century decor.

“Underwhelming but quaint and $$$$”

Quaint as expected but pricey and ‘tired’ for what you get. Served a “‘continental ’ breakfast but all grocery store products - nothing special. Did provide a $15 coupon for a local breakfast cafe. Our room was rated ‘ superior’ but don’t know why - certainly no view- we looked out at tarpaper roof… lisää

Our room was rated ‘ superior’ but don’t know why - certainly no view- we looked out at tarpaper roofs. Thin walls so noisy. No elevator and no one offered to help us with our luggage. Ok option for a one off but I would not go back. Staff dressed in slacks and Inn logo polos. Would have expected a classier look for front desk personnel at such a place.
