We stayed one night at this hotel before flying out from the Minneapolis airport the next morning. This was one of the more affordable hotels in the area that allowed 5 people in one room. We had a room with two queen beds and a pull out sofa bed. The room had 2 TVs, a microwave, safe, and mini fridge. The room was really clean, and quiet. The staff were all friendly and very helpful. We didn’t have time to partake in the breakfast or any other amenities, so I can’t comment on any of that.

“Excellent place to stay at an affordable place”

I was really impressed with my stay here. The beds was comfortable, they have a large refrigeration and plenty of freezer space to get your drinks cold. They have a couch which is good for lounging and watching ball games. The bathroom and shower area are also nice. The exercise room is small b… lisää

I was really impressed with my stay here. The beds was comfortable, they have a large refrigeration and plenty of freezer space to get your drinks cold. They have a couch which is good for lounging and watching ball games. The bathroom and shower area are also nice. The exercise room is small but they do have a Precor elliptical trainer that is top of the line. The breakfast buffet has plenty of items and is always fulled stocked. The front desk people were friendly and helpful. This place is quiet and easy to get a good night's sleep. Also near to many good restaurants and close to the freeways. This is way better than the other hotels I have stayed at in American Blvd. I will stay her again the next time I am in Bloomington.

“Lots to love but some major issues”

I am writing this review at 1:30 in the morning. I’m thinking at this point that I wouldn’t book here again, other people in the hotel feel differently though. How do I know? Because I can hear every word through my wall!!! Honestly cannot get over how thin the walls are. I thought for sure it must… lisää

Because I can hear every word through my wall!!! Honestly cannot get over how thin the walls are. I thought for sure it must be someone in the hallway, but no. For this reason alone I would have to seriously think twice before booking again. It does at least explain why the hvac and dishwasher are so loud- to drown out the noise of other guests presumably?other cons -room was not as clean as we hoped (including food garage presumably from the last guests not emptied) - dirt/scum on the top of the the swimming pool walls was thick enough people had written names etc in it Pros -every staff member we have encountered has been extremely friendly and helpful. I emailed a few questions before we arrived and they responded immediately. - breakfast is a nice selection and all the bread, donuts etc are individually packaged due to COVID - light evening meal served Monday-Wednesday is a nice added bonus. -location is good with lots of restaurants etc nearby I agree with other reviews that some of the hotel is looking a little shabby but beds were comfy and the price is good for the space that you get

We chose this hotel for a family weekend away so our kids could have their own space to sleep. Overall, our stay was fine. The hotel staff were very friendly, helpful, and addressed issues quickly. The hotel overall was somewhat shabby, and needs to be updated (ie lobby furniture was frayed and couch cushions had rips) and maintained. Areas where this was obvious was the lobby (furniture was frayed and couch cushions had rips), pool area (crack/water damaged area on the ceiling), guest rooms (sink faucet not really attached). Our kids slept on the sofa bed, and when we went to make it the first night, the sheets provided had a large gray/brown stain. I called to the front desk, and they were friendly and apologetic and gave us new ones. We found out once we got to our room that there is no housekeeping on the weekends, so in order to have more coffee to make in the room I needed to request it from the front desk. Breakfast was very good--food was good quality and hot. Again, the stay was fine overall, and the price was a good value, but I'm not sure we'd stay here again. I'd prefer to stay somewhere a little better maintained and updated.
