“Great experience !”

We had never been to Bar Harbor and we were so happy with our choice. Would definitely go back again in the warmer weather! Great room, view and had fun on the bistro ; it was cozy & the food was delicious. We had a delicious lobster appetizer dip and next time plan to eat dinner there.

I travel regularly for work and don't often write reviews about hotels, but this place "wowed" me. At check-in they had stuffed animals for my kids (good ones!), the room was new and clean, the pool was big and pretty, the view was beautiful, and the BREAKFAST (which was included in the price) was easily the best I've ever had at a hotel. There was not only a buffet of typical light selections (like cereal, fruit and pastries), but also a hot plate option with real portioned omelets, pancakes and egg meals. You could have anything you wanted. Good coffee, juice, everything. Very high quality food. The whole experience was wonderful for the price. We went in the off-season, so maybe we paid lower rates than usual, but I left absolutely delighted with the experience for the money. Fabulous. I wish all hotels were like this.

“Holiday Getaway!”

I've made it a tradition to head up to Bar Harbor for a couple of days during the Christmas holiday, and I always love to return to the Atlantic Oceanside Hotel. I've made it a tradition to head up to Bar Harbor for a couple of days during the Christmas holiday, and I always love to return to the Atlantic Oceanside Hotel. It's ideally located 1 mile from "downtown" Bar Harbor and I enjoy walking to and from town on the nice wide sidewalk as I walk past beautiful old mansions. I love our room at the Atlantic hotel as we always get one with a balcony overlooking the ocean. The bed and bedding are very comfortable, the room is super-clean, and the breakfast that comes with the room is delicious. Although I've never used it, the hotel has a heated pool and work-out room, and the hotel staff is very friendly and helpful. I look forward to returning year after year!

“December Stay”

I would highly recommend staying at this hotel. The view from the room was amazing. Enjoyed being able to get down to the ocean during low tide. I would highly recommend staying at this hotel. The view from the room was amazing. Enjoyed being able to get down to the ocean during low tide. The indoor pool was plenty large enough and the towels were constantly stocked. The breakfast menu had lots of options and was very delicious. We also ordered dinner to-go from The Bistro. The food was very tasty and the kids really enjoyed both the pizza and chicken tenders. The service and staff were great!
