This hotel delivers a great experience. We wanted a hotel off the beaten path for Labor Day weekend and did this hotel deliver! We did not experience the pool or fitness center as there was not any time to do so but Phillip and Rosie at the Front Desk are awesome. We even had a short chat with the GM before checkout, who was very nice. The breakfast in Mulligan's is delicious. The first morning, we had an omlette and 2 egg breakfast. The second morning, we had the flavorful steak and eggs. Yummy! The housekeeper on our floor, Maria, spoke to us each time we went by and even complimented us on our pup. We had a king suite with balcony that was very clean and spacious. It overlooked with shopping center next door. Despite the Soccer tournament players in house, it was relatively quiet and very enjoyable. The Peterbrooke treats in the pantry are delightful - we rode over to the chocolatier, practically next door, to get our truffles.

“Nice Hotel Stay”

Nice staff,good foof quiet hotel .Reccomend. Live music,nice gym, good location. I would reccomend this hotel to anyone in this area. Professional. Good atmosphere,nice market and close to Publix and CVS. Stayed during Debby and felt perfectly safe.

Room was clean, check in service was good. Coffee was surprisingly good. Pillows left a lot to be desired. Wished the shower was walk-in, tub seemed outdated. Was spacious. Not much nearby for dinner or breakfast choices. On our road trip it was our most costly hotel, we hoped to have it a little nicer for our trip towards the beach, wasn’t anything special and wished we saved our money for something on 95 instead.

“#1 for this PVB Resident and her Friends!!!”

Staycation gone right. We live in Ponte Vedra Beach but needed to vacate our home for a few days while the floors were being sanded. We started at another well know chain that is #2 of 2 hotels in PVB. We did this because we had points and it was therefore free. They couldn’t accommodate us for Friday night so we switched over to the #1 hotel in PVB. Thank goodness this happened or I may have never found out what a great place the HGI is and how lucky we are to have them so close. The rooms are spacious and clean. We had a small suite with a balcony. The bed was comfy. The bathroom and shower excellent. The front desk staff were friendly and efficient. I love the little snack shop in the lobby for late night munchies. We were only here one night but will recommend it and maybe staycation again. The attached Mulligans restaurant is a real gem and a new breakfast place for locals like us. If you have a choice between the two hotels in Sawgrass Village, stay at HGI - not the other place. There are also resorts in the area on the beach but ocean front rooms like ocean front homes are really expensive. Probably 200% more expensive.
