Evacuated from Daytona area to escape Hurricane Milton. Very appreciative Jessica at front desk answered the phone and assisted with securing 3 nights starting that same night. The room is spacious and pillows are plentiful! Beds comfortable. 24-hr coffee and breakfast good; a cut above this level with the delicious ham/ cheese/egg croissant! When our ac unit went out at 8pm night of Hurricane’s arrival, Sidney responded right away and swapped the unit from on-hand inventory. Very impressive! Even with the entire 3rd floor under construction, workers maintained reasonable work hours and courteous whenever encountered them. Entire staff has been friendly. A real pleasure to stay here. Thank you!

“Helpful staff”

Raylene is the lady in charge of breakfast and she might be the most helpful, happiest person I've ever had the pleasure of interacting with. She also gave my daughter a rubber ducky for the beach. She is awesome! The rooms were clean and the location is great.

I would give 4.5 stars if they allowed it. GREAT choice! My sister and I decided to do a quick long weekend at a beach - neither of us had been to Jacksonville, so we went here. I didn't want to spend a ton on a beachfront property so we decided on this Fairfield. I thought it would be about a 5 - 8 minute walk to the beach. It took about 90 seconds to walk across the street there. The breakfast was typical but very good. Staff at the desk and breakfast are excellent! The pool is very small but can cool you off. The hot tub was nice for relaxing. You can walk to a bunch of restaurants and bars and stores (8 min for some, 15 for farther ones along the beach). I also loved the beach here - clean and big...and will be returning. Some tips: The Hampton directly kitty-corner is awesome - has a great tiki bar near the beach. You can rent chairs/umbrella (only $40 per day) - try to get some right in front of the Hampton. If you need to use the bathroom - just hop up and get a drink at their tiki bar and use their restroom. Food at the tiki bar was decent and not terribly expensive (for a beachside bar at least). We really liked driving over to the Atlantic Beach area - great shops and restaurants and an older crowd. Jacksonville is VERY young crowd in the evenings. Loved our choice of this hotel!
