“Unique historic hotel”
This was by far the best, and most interesting, hotel we stayed at on our New Mexico trip. This was by far the best, and most interesting, hotel we stayed at on our New Mexico trip. It was very unique and historic, which was a nice change of pace from the average hotel these days which all look the same. The rooms are great, very uniquely furnished and very comfortable. The bar was very good with unique drinks and friendly bartenders. All the staff was very friendly.

“Very Nice Curio”
Hotel Andaluz is a very nice Curio hotel in Albuquerque. The hotel has that classic New Mexican look while feeling very welcoming and comfortable. Hotel Andaluz is a very nice Curio hotel in Albuquerque. The hotel has that classic New Mexican look while feeling very welcoming and comfortable. The room was fairly large and well-appointed with a nice couch and chair. Staff interactions were all great during our one-night stay. We also had a great breakfast in the morning. Overall, this is a great hotel and I would stay there again if I needed to be in downtown Albuquerque.

Positives: A hotel with a lovely Hispanic flavour within walking distance of the Amtrak/Railrunner trains located downtown opposite the conference centre. Positives: A hotel with a lovely Hispanic flavour within walking distance of the Amtrak/Railrunner trains located downtown opposite the conference centre. Room was a very good size with a seperate seating area. Love the two sink arrangement The front desk staff were delightful especially the guy with the long blonde hair and the guy who rides the two wheel scooter. Security and valet people also helpful. Areas of concern: Avoid this hotel it is being renovated and many of the facilities are not open. We were not warned about this. Only one lift working so get ready for a long wait at busy times. The lobby area is the only area to get food and drink and I presume breakfast. Very limited and expensive evening menu with wine at 16 a glass. The lighting is too dark and you can’t see what you’re eating. No cocktail menu. Although room was a great size toilet and shower arrangement very strange and hard to get in and sit on the toilet. Shower controls wrongly placed so you get wet before the right temp. Shower head needs descaling and power is poor and a result. High fixed head shower so no flexibility. Location has potential but feels unsafe in places to walk around alone and we were warned not to do so by security. Not near the old town if walking.
