Repeat visitors over the last 11 years, we would not stay anywhere else. The location, of course, is amazing. We have never rented a car. What keeps us coming back is the five-star service by a warm and caring staff. The daily housekeeping is impeccable. The front desk staff - Deborah, Monique, Sibonne - can't do enough for you. (Sorry for missing anyone else). Towel service (thank you, Ronald) is efficient and friendly. The landscaping is beautiful and well tended to. Any condo we stay in is always beautifully decorated. Fully-stocked kitchen lets us eat breakfast and lunch in. By choice dine out nightly. During high season, we suggest you reserve your favorite spots before you arrive in TCI. Unit laundry very convenient. Pack light! There is a warmth and island vibe to the property. Some of the newer high-rise properties do not give this vibe. OCW cost is reasonable too. That, however, is not what drives our decision to stay at OCW. It is the staff and overall environment.

Spectacular property in terms of location on Grace Beach, the beach itself, landscaping and choice of plants/ trees, and the professional and kind employees. Spectacular property in terms of location on Grace Beach, the beach itself, landscaping and choice of plants/ trees, and the professional and kind employees. Love the fact that the units are only three stories high and each apartment includes a kitchenette and a screened in lanai off of the room….fantastic addition which allows one to enjoy meals and relaxing without the bother of bugs or mosquitos. The beachside restaurants wer beautiful…meals on the beachside patio had lovely tiki lanterns surrounding the patio and portable low light lamps on each table which really improved the ambience. As far as the food…..it was hit and miss. Also very expensive. We ate in the restaurant four times and noticed that not many people ate there. LOVED the three beautiful stainless barbecues…..we will def take advantage of these next time. Also, kudos to the cleanliness of each of them……and kudos to all the cleaning staff….they did an amazing job. Love the fact that there are two very well maintained Pickleball/ tennis courts and bicycles for use. Another excellent advantage of the location of the property is that it’s an easy 5-10 min walk to a great grocery store, pizza and other restaurants and many shops. Because each unit is individually owned, it can be a roll of the dice as to what you get. Our unit was “tired” and def in need of updating. There were a few irritating little things that weren’t worth getting bothered about….like the occasionally malfunctioning sliding door, and the appliances which were very old and inexpensive, but otherwise we totally enjoyed our visit.

“Welcoming Resort”

We enjoyed our stay of 2 weeks and will return again. The suite was well maintained and recently renovated. It had an expansive view of the beach. The staff was pleasant and helpful The food was well prepared. We would welcome some more music by the beach in the evening, less TV by the bar.

We had a great stay at the Ocean club west. The only thing that stopped me giving 5 stars was the unbelievably rude and unfriendly member of reeption who I will refer to as “S” We arrived around lunchtime in driving rain and were told the room wouldn’t be ready til after 3pm which was fine and und… lisää

We had a great stay at the Ocean club west. The only thing that stopped me giving 5 stars was the unbelievably rude and unfriendly member of reeption who I will refer to as “S” We arrived around lunchtime in driving rain and were told the room wouldn’t be ready til after 3pm which was fine and understandable. We were given some cards with our room number on “7352” so we could get lunch and bill it to our room. We had some lunch and then went off in our hire car to find a supermarket and get some shopping for our stay. The rain was showing no sign of relenting so I thought I’d move the shopping from the car to outside the room for when it was ready. A quick walk around the resort confused me as all the rooms were in the hundreds and I couldn’t find 7352. Soaking wet, I went back to reception and spoke to the deadpan “S” and asked her to clarify our room number. She just stared at me emotionless and said the room was 7352. I asked could it be 735 and they were all in the 100s. She said no it was 7352. I had another walk around the resort in the rain to no avail and went back and spoke to S once again . I was quite frustrated now but she still insisted our room was 7352. So we just waited before eventually getting an email just before 4pm to say the room was ready. It was only then I was told the room was actually 735 not 7352. She mumbled something about it shows differently on there system . Why couldn’t she have told me this before? She was extremely unhelpful and rude. This was a relatively small thing but could have easily been avoided and it upset me more than it should have after a long journey. Everything else was perfect, the 2 bedroom condo was amazing,the beach was incredible and every other member of staff was great. We will be back !
