Tozeur is unforgettable. A place in the middle of the Sahara desert. Tozeur was an important Numidian town on the ancient caravan route between Vescra (modern Biskra, in Algeria) and Tacapae (modern Gabès [Qābis], in Tunisia). Her architectural style is unique, playing with bricks of sand and clay. And in this desert paradise is located this wonderful hotel, which offers opportunities for a relaxed vacation. Located in the stillness of the Sahara Desert, the El Mouradi Touzer Resort is the ideal resort in Tunisia for a luxurious escape. This refined hotel in the desert, surrounded by palm trees and next to a beautiful pool, offers real enjoyment with quality wine. It is located opposite the Oasis Tozeur golf course and 6 km from the coast of Chott el Djerid (salt lake). The room is very clean, comfortable and spacious. The rooms are bright and have a balcony, satellite TV and a mini-fridge. The rooms are decorated in Moorish style and are beautiful. The apartments have a separate living room. Family rooms accommodate up to 4 people. Each room is equipped with air conditioning. There are also two bars and two cafes, as well as an elegant restaurant. The breakfast is varied and extremely tasty, based on local Tunisian cuisine, but also on international cuisine. Dinner on the basis of buffet service is extremely good, tasty and versatile. The staff is exceptional, attentive and professional. Facilities also include indoor and outdoor pools, a gym and a spa center with hot tub and hammam.

“Bigger Picture ”

They delivered a card 3. They decorated the beds 4. They brought a huge personalised cake to the dinner table and sang happy birthday Can't put a price on that

“Hotel in the Desert? I would return yes.”
Was a short stay here for one night as i was doing a desert excursion trip with partner. My main hotel was actually in north Tunisia but due to doing a desert excursion i stayed here for one night. Was a short stay here for one night as i was doing a desert excursion trip with partner. My main hotel was actually in north Tunisia but due to doing a desert excursion i stayed here for one night. To be fair it was decent. Everything was working, it had a shower decent bed and a balcony as well. Due to this hotel stay being part of the excursion i also had dinner on the evening of my first day and also breakfast before checking out and carrying on my exploration. The hotel rooms need a refurb in my opinion or the one i stayed in at least but all in all, it done the job. I thought i would leave a positive review because of the staff in reception who were very friendly and accommodating as well as the desert excursion being something i will never forget. An amazing trip setup by Let's Explore Tunisia (these were the guys who helped set my Sahara trip up and included a one night stay here). We arrived just after dinner had closed usually and after checking in my guide spoke with the reception team and they kindly made sure me and my partner had some food before i headed to my room. Truly appreciated, will happily stay here again if the staff are still this accommodating when returning.

“Standard hotel not far from downtown Tozeur.”
Stayed for two nights as part of a group Grand Tour of Tunisia. Rooms are a little bit old fashioned and could do with refurbishing. Staff are friendly throughout the hotel. The restaurant meals (buffet style) are OK but not great. No obvious issues and all standard appliances are provided.
