“A good hotel in SFAX”

Clean hotel with cozy rooms in a quiet place. Food is ok. Staff speaks english and french. Nothing interesting around. Internet connection is bad. Really bad. But I don't think that you are going to find a better hotel in Sfax to be honest.

I stayed in this hotel for three night. Hotel is very quiet and sleep is very restful. The staff is really kind and helpful. The breakfast and the dinner were buffet style and were abundant, but is possible dine à la carte. The room was very big, and the bathroom had a bath and a shower together. F… lisää

I stayed in this hotel for three night. Hotel is very quiet and sleep is very restful. The staff is really kind and helpful. The breakfast and the dinner were buffet style and were abundant, but is possible dine à la carte. The room was very big, and the bathroom had a bath and a shower together. From my point of view the hotel is very nice, however it needs a major maintenance. For example is possible see a lumber room without door...is not so nice for a customer.

“Quick Visit”

Recommended if you're just passing through Sfax. Beats other overpiced competitors. approx. $ 55 per night, compared to $190 at the two other main hotels. Hotel is fine. Recommended if you're just passing through Sfax. Beats other overpiced competitors. approx. $ 55 per night, compared to $190 at the two other main hotels. Hotel is fine. You get the minimum.Nice room, good service and relatively good food. I'm not sure about Wifi, as there was a network but I couldn't connect. I didn't ask them for help, as I could connect otherwise. The hotel in itself is absolutely uninteresting, although it has a pool. It may also work nicely as a base from which to explore Sfax.

“Distinctly dreary”

Spent a tough week on business here. Drab, dreary, down at heel are all words and phrases both I and many others have used to describe this hotel. Spent a tough week on business here. Drab, dreary, down at heel are all words and phrases both I and many others have used to describe this hotel. Very similar to the awful commercial hotels of the 60's and 70's - now, thankfully on the way out. Main gripe is that the whole hotel is infused with the smell of cheap cigarette smoke which gets in to your hair, skin and clothes. Closing the door to your room makes no difference as the smoke comes in through the aircon vents as well. Food is variable but of mixed quality and I found the best thing on the menu in the evening was a sort of vegetable soup. Breakfast was a bit of a mixed bag with good croissants and (sometimes) even better warm brown rolls. There was some dodgy looking scrambled eggs (my usual yardstick) and passable fried eggs in oil but otherwise I didn't see anything else I could recommend - unless you like 80% sugar cakes etc. The staff were a little stand-offish at first but as the week wore (ground) on, they seemed to relax and were actually quite affable by weekend. None the less the service was only average at best. Taken in the round - this is a hotel sorely in need of some investment and invigoration with staff doing what they could with what was available - and that wasn't much; so not entirely their fault.
