“Great Start to a Wonderful Trip ...”

We started our yearly three weeks trip to Prague with a four night stay in the Hotel Savoy. After many years traveling to Prague , I chose this hotel - first time - for its location. We had booked four hotels to enjoy four distinctively different location in the city. I chose Hotel Savoy to maximize on it's near the Castle location, the Strahov Monastery, the Palaces , the St. Vitus Cathedral and the Petrin hill. We stayed four nights in the large suite on the top floor, with a glass wall entrance to the longest private terrace . (pictured above) . Great views ! Very spacious, king size bed, great modern bathroom with a bathtub, double vanity and separate shower stall. Our suite was ready on arrival. That is always appreciated after a long flight. As luck would have it, we met the hotel chef Mr. Petr Patocka in the elevator. Doubly lucky, because he said he seldom takes the guests' elevator. He is a very tall man and with the tall chef's hat he looked very impressive. We joked around a bit and my husband asked him where we could get the best "Svickova" for dinner. Long story short , we had the best dinner ( svickova ) in Prague, served on our first night in the hotel's cozy library restaurant. Our server that evening was wonderful, as was Mr. Patocka , who stopped to check on us during dinner. What a night ! Great food , great atmosphere , great start to a wonderful trip ! The daily breakfast buffet was plentiful, attractively arranged, fruits and berries , pastries and the usual hot buffet choices . Very friendly staff I was happy to speak Czech with. We had a lovely stay and hope to return .... Dekuji a Nashledanou :)

“Good stay - was perfect. ”
The hotel is in quiet area, tramway take you to the center in less than 10min, you can walk also to the Charles bridge who is not far. So the situation is perfect. The room is spacious and very clean, room service did an amazing job so special mention to this people who did an hard work. What about… lisää
The hotel is in quiet area, tramway take you to the center in less than 10min, you can walk also to the Charles bridge who is not far. So the situation is perfect. The room is spacious and very clean, room service did an amazing job so special mention to this people who did an hard work. What about the breakfast ? AMAZING by the quantity and quality that’s ridiculous. Bar is relax too, the barman is nice. Maybe the accueil and when we left, like no goodbye or thanks or whatever. Only bad point but worth a stay. Take you room !

“Fantastic Stay”
My wife and I stayed for 3 nights at this beautiful hotel, where nothing is to much trouble. In particular we would like to thank Pavla, who looked after us when we used the restaurant for our breakfast. She was so attentive, and charming, and is a real credit to the team. My wife and I stayed for 3 nights at this beautiful hotel, where nothing is to much trouble. In particular we would like to thank Pavla, who looked after us when we used the restaurant for our breakfast. She was so attentive, and charming, and is a real credit to the team. The hotel is very clean, and all that you would expect from a 5*. It is very well appointed for walking around Prague, and experiencing it's beautiful charm and culinary delights. David & Karen- UK

“Distinctly average”
We arrived today for afternoon tea, which was a gift to me from my sons for Christmas. My husband and I had visited this hotel for our honeymoon 20 years ago, so it was a very sentimental gift. We arrived today for afternoon tea, which was a gift to me from my sons for Christmas. My husband and I had visited this hotel for our honeymoon 20 years ago, so it was a very sentimental gift. The hotel has been refurbished since then apparently 3 years ago but has somewhat chaotic decor. We felt the staff were very cool towards us and the afternoon tea was ok but nothing to write home about, which is a shame.
