“Enjoyable holiday weekend with the kids”
We stayed over a holiday weekend with 2 children and the grandparents. We were in one of the 2 buildings that have not been renovated. Our rooms were incredibly clean and extremely well kept, especially given their obvious age. We thoroughly enjoyed the amenities for the kids. And the guest card … lisää
We stayed over a holiday weekend with 2 children and the grandparents. We were in one of the 2 buildings that have not been renovated. Our rooms were incredibly clean and extremely well kept, especially given their obvious age. We thoroughly enjoyed the amenities for the kids. And the guest card was an incredible value. I found the reception staff to be incredibly helpful. I had a lot of silly questions before and after I booked and they were extremely quick to respond through the messenger app. Their messenger app and guest app were extremely useful as well. I do recommend making a reservation for breakfast. It definitely filled up and they seemed to struggle a bit to keep the buffet stocked. Granted their was plenty to eat, so no complaints. Overall, I’m glad we gave it a try and we would certainly return!

Excellent service, clean well kept hotel in beautiful scenery. Nothing is too much for the staff, always friendly and helpful. Excellent service, clean well kept hotel in beautiful scenery. Nothing is too much for the staff, always friendly and helpful. The new restaurant owners are doing a fantastic job: great food and warm and friendly atmosphere. Breakfast, dinner and theme evening- all were a great success!. The pool is beautiful and a real treat, massages wonderfully relaxing, great atmosphere! We had a simply amazing view from our balcony ❤️

“A place to be over the festive season”
This resort provides spacious and comfortable apartments with all that one requires for self-catering purposes. Clean, pretty and serviced daily. Lovely mountain views and a large balcony. This resort provides spacious and comfortable apartments with all that one requires for self-catering purposes. Clean, pretty and serviced daily. Lovely mountain views and a large balcony. Staff are friendly and helpful, and the restaurant is good. The location is beautiful and the walk to the small village takes only 15-20 minutes. The train station is on the edge of the village, 15 minutes walk from the resort, from where one can travel in every direction to visit other small towns, and for visits to Austria, Munich, Switzerland. We travelled just prior to festive season when the Xmas markets were still being set up, and so missed the atmosphere that a little German town such as this offers over Xmas time. The town was extremely quiet, and 'closed' on a Sunday- so if you need goods, make sure to purchase them on a Saturday! There are a few excellent restaurants in the town which offer top cuisine and great, amiable service. A MUST do!

“Nice place to be”
We had a great week at Mondi-Holiday Alpenblickhotel Oberstaufen. The Spa/Wellness Area of this Resort is really senational. Very new and clean, with a huge area. I would recommend this! We would definitely come back!

“Nice place - restaurant staff in need of training”
We enjoyed a couple of days here with family. Overall a good experience. However, the restaurant cannot handle lobby/terrace/restaurant table change. We watched a Euro2020 match in the lobby lounge. Then we got hungry and wanted to order food. Not possible. Then we arranged to eat during the break,… lisää
We enjoyed a couple of days here with family. Overall a good experience. However, the restaurant cannot handle lobby/terrace/restaurant table change. We watched a Euro2020 match in the lobby lounge. Then we got hungry and wanted to order food. Not possible. Then we arranged to eat during the break, on the restaurant terrace, The match started again and we then wanted to go back and watch more soccer in the lounge. Then they were somewhat upset that we apparently had two bills open - one in the lounge, one on the restaurant terrace… What do I care?! I wanted flexibility and finesse. I did not ever try to avoid the bill. It turned out ok, but they were WAY too rigid, and the final round of drinks was never ordered because we just went to our room instead! A totally cool experience was somewhat dulled by not so cool policies that did not make any sense to a guest!
