I stayed there for three days (nights) in early October. Reserved it while on the train from the South and after coming across it on TripAdvisor. The price seemed reasonable, the recommendations seemed promising, as were the reviews that I read. To make a long story short: The ratings for this hotel are well deserved. Rooms are quiet (even if close to the elevator, as mine was), the rooms are well laid out, including a little writing area, the wifi is stable and reasonably fast in the rooms and the brekkie - bar area, and there is coffee and tea for early morning consumption (replenisable if need be.) The brekkie can be bought on the spot and currently is Euro 17.50. A bit steep but not unreasonable given what's on offer. The brekkie area has various options where you can sit (high chairs, low stairs, seating booths). The staff is professional and helpful (e.g., printing tickets out). The location is a big plus. A stone's throw away from Wittenbergplatz, with access to the U-Bahn system, KaDeWe and Gedaechtniskirche. Going to Central Station (HBF) with U-Bahn and S-Bahn is about five stops (via Zoologischer Garten) or a taxi ride that should cost not more than 18 - 19 dollars.

The beds are so comfortable here and the staff are friendly and helpful. We visited just before the Euro football tournament and unfortunately Bus 100, which stops near the hotel, had been cancelled for the duration, which meant that getting around was a little more awkward that had been expected, … lisää

The beds are so comfortable here and the staff are friendly and helpful. We visited just before the Euro football tournament and unfortunately Bus 100, which stops near the hotel, had been cancelled for the duration, which meant that getting around was a little more awkward that had been expected, but that isn't the hotel's fault. The area is very pleasant with a selection of restaurant nearby. Wittenbergplatz U-Bahn station is about a 5 minute walk away. I would like to mention the staff at reception and the housekeeping staff who were absolutely great.

“Honest review.”

Good points - clean, good location, comfortable bed, friendly staff. Bad - the front of the hotel can be a bit noisy. Terrible - the rooms are uncomfortably hot, and there is no way to cool them down. Even if you’re in the back of the hotel, away from the road so you can open a window, ever… lisää

Staff friendly and helpful, room clean as you'd expect...however, seriously in need of a lick of paint. Marked walls inthe room not appealing to be honest. The location of the hotel is very handy U bahn nearby and a cracking Italian up the road,
