“Excellent Ibis experience”
We stopped on our way south and it was a perfect place for us. Very easy to access from the motorway, friendly and welcoming staff, spacious and comfortable room with a good-sized shower room and separate loo. We stopped on our way south and it was a perfect place for us. Very easy to access from the motorway, friendly and welcoming staff, spacious and comfortable room with a good-sized shower room and separate loo. The bed was comfortable and the room was very quiet overnight. We had dinner in the hotel restaurant (as we’d had a long day!) and were very pleased with that too. The restaurant was pretty full, on a Monday evening, but the food was all freshly prepared and the service was quick. Reasonably priced. Continental breakfast in the morning was also good … plenty of choice. Would definitely recommend.

Run by an enthusiastic and helpful team: "upgraded" to a better room on arrival, given the option of paying then or on departure (not really important but a nice change from the frequent "pay before you stay". Spacious room, very clean. Wide variety of products in the breakfast buffet but only a "topping up" service: people searching for items, how to use the coffee/juice machines, egg boiler etc. No complaints overall. Le Patio restaurant was a highlight in terms of quality and service: we will leave a separate review if I can find it on TA>

“A very good hotel”
Good stopover for us. Spacious room with walk-in shower and comfortable bed.. Excellent breakfast choice plus we could have had an evening meal if required. Car parking spaces were also plentiful. If in the area again would definitely use this hotel.

“Satisfactory but BEWARE”
I stayed at the ibis Style Poitiers Nord from 6/07/22 to 7/07/22. I found the hotel average for an ibis but the service was left wanting and staff seemed in short supply. My room was not ready when I arrived in mid afternoon and I waited for service at the bar as no staff were present. There were s… lisää
I stayed at the ibis Style Poitiers Nord from 6/07/22 to 7/07/22. I found the hotel average for an ibis but the service was left wanting and staff seemed in short supply. My room was not ready when I arrived in mid afternoon and I waited for service at the bar as no staff were present. There were staff huddled in a small group, smoking and drinking in a corner of the terrace but it needed the reception personnel to summon one. WARNING - My visit was blighted by the fact that the hotel chose to make an unauthorised charge on my debit card, for the room rate, on the day of my arrival as a guarantee. The following day when I checked out I paid my invoice in full which included the room rate. I queried this by email and was assured that the charge had been refunded. This was not the case and as of now, 21/07/22 this has not been the case. It has resulted in countless hours of work with my bank who cannot credit may account. I will never stay in an ibis again.
