“Beautiful little hotel in the Marais”

This was a real gem of a hotel. Really beautifully done in an understated way, it felt so welcoming for our 24-hour stay. Staff were very helpful and friendly. Located in the pretty Marais district with lots of local places to eat and shop. Nice breakfast was a highlight!

I am on mother daughter trip and was so delighted to have stayed at this charming, friendly boutique hotel. I am normally a very light sleeper at home, but the beds, linens and pillows were so comfortable, I slept eight hours straight, waking so refreshed. Johanna and Ismael could not have been more accommodating. We loved the hotel so much we tried to change our plans and stay in Paris another night, but they were completely sold out. Johanna quickly booked us a sister hotel she thought we would like and Ismael offered to bring all our luggage over to the other hotel. So nice! This neighborhood of the Marais is so walkable and full of boutiques, restaurants and small bars. Most importantly, the neighborhood felt completely safe. The staff was truly exceptional here - they made our experience in Paris so easy. I look forward to making this my first choice for hotel upon my return to Paris.

This hotel is absolutely charming. The superior executive room we chose had stone floors and exposed beam ceilings, lovely eclectic decor and actually enough space to maneuver our two large American suitcases (sort of)! The front-desk staff, who are available 24/7, were helpful with recommendations, friendly and wonderful. There was a small elevator and the breakfast buffet, which is set up in a pretty little catacomb under the building, was taken from local bakeries and was absolutely delicious, served by a wonderful server, Ines. The location was a little off the beaten path, but we knew we'd be taking Ubers everywhere anyway because one of our party has mobility issues, and the neighborhood of Le Marais itself is a perfect home base for a Paris getaway. My only issue with the hotel is the bath/shower. I think it may be typical for a French hotel (not sure?) but the tub is so deep that our mobility-challenged traveler was not able even to climb into it; she roughed it and did a sponge bath each day, it was that hard to manage. If your party are fit and healthy you will probably also get clean. :) Despite that drawback, I highly recommend the hotel.
