“Perfection”
If you are in this region, stay in the troglodyte hotel. Staff are efficient, hotel is beautifully positioned over looking the Loire. Very relaxing after a day of sight seeing.

“A truly pleasurable experience. Fabulous room and views.”
Room size and quality and views which can only come from a attentive and caring establishment. And the real bonus .. One of the largest and most comfortable hotel beds we have slept in for ages!

“Beautiful hotel overlooking the Loire”
We didn't to a cave room - but had a beautiful, spacious room overlooking the river. Comfortable, beautiful hotel - excellent and very helpful staff. Brilliant views with great light in the afternoon and evening.

“A wonderful lunch at a very beautiful place”
This lunch was in a hotel that partly was cut into the limestone cliff. From its teras we hade a very nice river view in one direction and this very interesting and beautiful hotel in the other direction. This lunch was in a hotel that partly was cut into the limestone cliff. From its teras we hade a very nice river view in one direction and this very interesting and beautiful hotel in the other direction. The lunch started with h’ordeuvres and sparkling chenin blank wine. There was many of them and a lot of them, and all were just delicious. Then we sat down and was served white asparagus with cheese, ham, and some nice sauce. Also, very good. And when we went on to a nice fish also with a wonderful sauce. Both dishes were accepted by nice chemin blank wines. Everything finished with their special desert an orange souffle that was very imposing visually. All in all, a perfect lunch in a perfect spot.

“Fantastic!”
Great location. Beautiful room. We had a troglodyte room and it was very special, with amazing views. The food is outstanding and service attentive and friendly throughout. Definitely worth visiting the wine caves next door too.
