“Wonderful stay”

Booked for 2 nights ended up booking for another 2 nights. Hotel is clean and very welcoming. Lady on reception is very welcoming and helpful and speaks amazing English. Hotel is more than 2 stars . We stayed in a ground floor room with a terrace it’s was worth paying the extra. Restaurant close by is lovely . Please take time to say hi to Pippa the sausage dog she adorable. Wonderful stay with a very welcoming family run hotel . We will returning next year for sure. . Mr and Mrs beekes

“An enjoyable family run hotel”

We stayed there for one night and it was definitely up to expectations. The room was a decent size. It was clean and the bed was comfortable. The owner and her parents were friendly and helpful. Unlike most of the comparable hotels in the centre, it had free car parking and was reasonably quiet… lisää

We stayed there for one night and it was definitely up to expectations. The room was a decent size. It was clean and the bed was comfortable. The owner and her parents were friendly and helpful. Unlike most of the comparable hotels in the centre, it had free car parking and was reasonably quiet. Although not in the centre of Saintes, it does not take long to drive there. We stayed in Saintes for 1 night as it has lots of historic sites that we wanted to visit.

We stayed at Hotel O'Nice in Saintes. We were very warmly welcomed, room was clean, bathroom clean, great shower. Closed parking with CCTV. We continued our journey very early in the morning, but the owner was also out of bed early to wish us a good journey despite the early hour. In short: a must.… lisää

“Comfortable & Friendly”

We last stayed here in 2016 and decided to stay here again as we wanted somewhere close to the motorway. This time we had an air conditioned first floor room which was a decent size and both clean and comfortable. We last stayed here in 2016 and decided to stay here again as we wanted somewhere close to the motorway. This time we had an air conditioned first floor room which was a decent size and both clean and comfortable. Wifi worked well, there were plenty of electrical sockets and a good sized bathroom. The hotel is close to the motorway, easy to find and has plenty of parking spaces. Nearby is a Super U Petrol Station if you do not want to pay motorway prices. Next door to the hotel is a "La Boucherie" restaurant serving the normal fast food mix of burgers, steaks etc. We took breakfast at the hotel and from memory thought this had improved since our last stay. There was a good selection on offer. The pool was open but on this occasion we did not make use of it. One of the things we like about this hotel is the helpful and friendly service they offer. If I can put a request in, it would be for them to be able to sell guests a beer or glass of wine upon arrival. It was a hot day and a long drive. A cold beer would have been very welcome.
