“Beautiful hotel in a quiet neighborhood with excellent breakfast”
The hotel is very new. Appears to be a new conversion from an apartment complex. The room we stayed (one bedroom) was spacious with a kitchenette and all the amenities we needed. The hotel is very new. Appears to be a new conversion from an apartment complex. The room we stayed (one bedroom) was spacious with a kitchenette and all the amenities we needed. The staff at the front desk were friendly and helpful, all speaking fluent English. It was a located in a quiet neighborhood, but only a few minutes of walking from the Liberty Avenue. It is also close to public transportations. But with Uber being so inexpensive (5-6 Euros to most places), we never needed to use any public transportations. The best part is their buffet style breakfast with a huge selections, from fresh fruit such as persimmons to all kinds of sweets to sausages/eggs and sautéed veggies. Consider including breakfast in your booking. My wife loved the place so much that we returned to the hotel when we decided to shorten our stay in Porto.

“Decent Hotel”
The hotel did a job for the time we were in Lisbon. We had to wait for check in but we walked around a bit and did a sightseeing tour whilst we waited for the room to be ready which it was shortly before 2pm. The hotel did a job for the time we were in Lisbon. We had to wait for check in but we walked around a bit and did a sightseeing tour whilst we waited for the room to be ready which it was shortly before 2pm. Nice spacious suite with a living room and some water which can be good for room service which is what we did the first night as we were a bit knackered and it was relatively quick and tasted nice and fresh too. Located about five minutes away from the main square with the McDonald's and meeting points for trips, including the sightseeing one we did the day we got there. Bed was very comfy and good enough room for clothes and other bits. Was a nice quiet stay which is pleasant to have after a good day of exploring and especially after a day trip. Would stay here again if I came back.

Apartment room was lovely comfortable beds and spacious , bathroom was exquisite. Also a smile wouldn't go amiss from the receptionist

The hotel is situated near Marquês de Pombal Square, offering convenient access to public transportation. The suites are large and include separate living and sleeping areas, perfect for families or longer stays. The room was clean and well-maintained. The suite features a small kitchenette with a coffee machine, microwave, fridge, dining area. There is no minibar in the suite, even if stocked with items available for purchase. Coffee capsules (€0.80 each), bottles of water, and tea bags must be purchased from reception. Including a few complimentary items for guests would enhance the experience. The hotel has a swimming pool on the top floor and a gym. The hotel offers private parking, but we opted for nearby public parking, which was more affordable,it is free of charge for night and weekend. Overall, the VIP Executive Suites do Marquês is a good choice for travelers seeking spacious, clean accommodations in a central location. However, a few adjustments, such as adding a minibar and offering a warmer, more detail-oriented approach, would significantly improve the guest experience.

“Good if no one stole anything”
The staff at the reception desk are very friendly and are very helpful. We were greeted warmly after a long trip to Lisbon, and the check in went smoothly. The staff at the reception desk are very friendly and are very helpful. We were greeted warmly after a long trip to Lisbon, and the check in went smoothly. We had also kept our bags for a week with them as we were in another destination before arriving there, and they were kept safely. Rooms initially were very clean. Our room was really cold, and after we complained, they didn't hesitate to find us another room quickly, we didn't end up needing it as the heater started working shortly after. My wife asked for a kettle as there wasn't one in our room to make a hot beverage, and they kindly found us one. Overall we would have recommended this hotel to all our family and friends if they are going to visit Lisbon in the future but what will hold us back is theft. We read a few reviews before booking here that mentioned housekeeping thefts and we thought it would not affect us, and therefore we took precautions and locked all our money, cameras and passports in the safe to avoid any issues. However I didn't think I would have to secure my perfume bottle. I looked everywhere the last night I packed to go back to Canada but couldn't find it. The only logical explanation was the housekeeping that came had stolen it. It was on my table until she/he had come. Housekeeping didn't even change any towels or clean. The beds were only made and my perfume was stolen. For that reason I won't be letting anyone know about this hotel, which is unfortunate because the place is nice and a good location and the staff are so nice. I urge the administration to review who you have hired lately that is causing these thefts. A perfume bottle is nothing i know, but nothing is being done to avert theft and in my view 3 (of what I see) reviews of thefts are 3 too many. Thanks
