This is a very nice hotel, a short walk right across from the bus station. The room had a comfortable bed, AC, a small refrigerator, a safe and the usual English language channels (mostly CNN). This is a very nice hotel, a short walk right across from the bus station. The room had a comfortable bed, AC, a small refrigerator, a safe and the usual English language channels (mostly CNN). The restaurant was okay for breakfast, but overall the prices were a bit higher than can be had outside the restaurant. There are a number of restaurants on the street nearby, and a small bodega pretty much right across the street. We didn't use the pool, but it was used by many others. It's only a short taxi ride to the ruins, and there were always taxis. I would recommend that you bring along a supply of small bills, as ATM's are not as common as you may expect.

Swimming pool good depth, clean and reasonable size to swim. Located by the patio seating area for the restaurant .Rooms sizeable, insect screens on windows. Swimming pool good depth, clean and reasonable size to swim. Located by the patio seating area for the restaurant .Rooms sizeable, insect screens on windows. Just fixed shower(not flexible to wash hair!!) Table + chairs. Coffee machine. Stayed one night on a tour ,in order to visit Palenque historical site , probably the main reason why the township exists. Breakfast a la carte. Ate evening meal in restaurant, a little up market but offers Mexican fare.

“Great location and value”

Tulipanes provides all the basics- good for a few nights to see the area. We gave a 4 for the value. The room has enough surfaces for all our things. Clean, hot shower, make up mirror and blow dryer, coffee pot and bottled water in the room. Everything you need. The AC worked very well. Didn’t get… lisää

Tulipanes provides all the basics- good for a few nights to see the area. We gave a 4 for the value. The room has enough surfaces for all our things. Clean, hot shower, make up mirror and blow dryer, coffee pot and bottled water in the room. Everything you need. The AC worked very well. Didn’t get a chance to use the spa but the prices were good. Nice pool with fountains too. The area of La Cañada is very hip with lots of great restaurants. Not a big shopping area but town is close for that! Didn’t eat in the hotel restaurant ss can’t include that in the review. There is a locked parking lot if you have a car.

This hotel was nice, very basic. The staff were friendly and our room was clean. Tbe pool was nice as well. We had two meals at the hotel restaurant and they were both really good, I did have to go find our server at one point, they had all disappeared:-)) The ONLY issue we had was with the taxi s… lisää

This hotel was nice, very basic. The staff were friendly and our room was clean. Tbe pool was nice as well. We had two meals at the hotel restaurant and they were both really good, I did have to go find our server at one point, they had all disappeared:-)) The ONLY issue we had was with the taxi service they called for us to get to the airport. The taxi was literally falling apart, and couldn’t go faster than 35mph, and we ended up having to pull over on the side of the highway and flag down another taxi going by. It’s our fault for getting into the taxi, but also, the hotel should make sure they are calling a reputable taxi for their patrons.
